Mel let out some sort of squeak, shaking herself. "Jeez, how long has it been since anyone was in here.." She muttered, reaching out to feel the wall.

Mira followed. "Stay close, Char," She muttered, jumping slightly at the creaking of the building. She continued down without hesitation. "Probably a long, long time. There's a failsafe in these kinds of places in case the place caves in; we're pretty safe, we just need to find it."

"not sure" Tiger answered back. He then looked around and noticed Cyndaquil was on edge. He was about to ask the Pokémon what was up when a small chunk of the ceiling cracked off and fell just above Mel. Tiger followed Cyndaquil's gaze and swiftly grabbed Mel's arm and pulled her aside. Jus as he did the chunk hit the spot she would have stood moments after Tiger pulled her clear of the falling object.

"Nice to meet you I'm Al." Al responded and pointed to a small walkway on the side of the hole. "There's a path that can take you straight to the machine. Just be careful if you walk down there the ground is unstable..."

Robert was about to lunge forward and pull Mel out of the way when he noticed Tiger do so instead. "Nice reflexes." He mutters out.


Jamie had blended into the crowd and listened to what Al said before breaking off and quietly sneaking down the path.

Mira flattened herself against the wall. Nicely done, Tiger. She thought, refusing to let her face smile. Char growled, surprised, but soon enough stopped and sniffed the chunk of ceiling that fell.

Riu let out a small growl.

"Oh my god," Mel whispered, staring at where she'd been. "I just saw my life flashing before me-- If you'd been one second later I would be under that chunk." She shivered and held onto Tiger's arm.

Tiger looked over to Mel slightly shocked himself. He sighed and blinked before he tried to clear his mind. "Are you alright?" He asked Mel quickly trying not to think about what would have happened if he hadn't been standing by her at the moment the ceiling broke off a bit. He then looked over to Robert "uh t-thanks" he said quickly before shaking his head completely clear.

Al nodded and walked back towards the Pokémon center.

Jamie quickly yet carefully made their way down into the hole. She frowned looking at the machine. "What the heck is this?" She muttered trying to figure out what it was.

Mel let out a shaky breath. "Yeah, I'm good. Let's keep going, there's no point in going back now." She said, though she kept her grip on Tiger's arm.

Jamie quickly turned around, their long chestnut hair quickly whipping behind them. They have a hand on one of the four Pokeballs in their possession. "I see." They answered cautiously.

Jamie didn't say anything more on the matter but was still wary of Z and didn't remove her hand from Dusk's Pokeball. "So want to explain more about this machine?" They mused out.

Tiger nodded to Mel and sighed in relief. He didn't take notice to how she was still holding his arm. He just sighed "glad you're alive" he said quietly. He then nodded to Cyndaquil who lit the area up. Tiger then saw a laptop on a table nearby.
