Mel glanced at Z and raised her eyebrows. "Did you sleep at all?" She asked, amused. She stretched her arms and sighed when she heard Mira. "Five more minutes, mom!" She called, opening the door and rubbing her eyes. Riu trailed after her, looking disgruntled.

Robert had convinced Jamie to shed almost all of the winter clothing and wear only their normal outfit and a heavy jacket. "Come on Jamie, I think Quill is excited to see Professor Sycamore again." He mused. He was correct in his assumption. If it wasn't for Quill's size he would be jumping up and down like a little kid.

"I'm coming." Jamie replied before jogging out of the room and locking it.

Tiger jumped slightly in shock as Mira yelled. He glanced at Akio who growled in reaction to the trainer's yelling. "Are all your friends this loud..." the Pokémon said lowly.

"Oh come on Akio don't be to upset that Mira scared you" Tiger said slyly and went down the hall to Mira.

"This makes it seem like it's actually Christmas." Mel groaned, pulling her hood up over her head. "Seriously, frigid. Think it's snowing?" She glanced over at Tiger and waved.

Tiger smiled and waved back to Mel. He then looked at his pokegear and checked the weather. "No just a chance for rain" he said kindly. "It'll warm up later today" he responded kindly.

Robert and Jamie were walking past the group when Tiger said it was supposed to warm up. "Thank Palkia." Jamie muttered happily causing Robert to snort.


(Sleeping and a time skip so it's currently morning and cold.)

Tiger looked up and saw Robert. He then remembered Lion sending him a text the night before telling him about Robert and his sibling. "Hello" he said kindly and nodded a greeting

"Its not that bad." Riu remarked, crossing his arms.

"You have fur." Mel retorted dryly. "I seriously hope it warms up quickly, or else I'm having a fit and hiding in the hotel room under a pile of blankets."

Mira smiled. "It better warm up. Until then," She returned Toka for the first time since winter. "I needed a ride pokemon out, anyway. But I won't let her out until we get outside."

Tiger looked over to Mira, and thought for a moment. He saw Lion walk past him saying something about a gym battle. Tiger shrugged "not sure. I mean it looks like Lion won't be joining us" he said softly. Cyndaquil walked out of his room and climbed onto Tiger's shoulder.

Tiger nodded "yeah Sycamore's lab is in Lumiose it's right next to the hotel" he said in response to Mira. Cyndaquil grabbed his pokegear and put it in his backpack. The Pokémon looked at the others. Cyndaquil then jumped to the ground and went over to Mel.

Robert and Jamie exited the hotel and let looked around before letting Quill out. "Lead the way." Robert mused causing Quill to excitedly nod and lead the way to Professor Sycamore's lab.
