"Rose return." Max commands with a snarl. "Clef lets go!" He calls
out before noticing that Rachael fainted. "Shoot." He growled out
while his Clefairy popped into existence.
Luma sighed and returned Houndoom. "Good luck with your weird
training," She called over her shoulder, stalking out of the
clearing.

Riu growled and swatted blindly through the air with bone rush, not
able to avoid the attack this time. He was hit back and Mel darted
forward to catch him, which sent them both sprawling.
I'm gonna feel that in the morning. Mel groaned, rubbing the
back of her elbow. "Aura sphere!"
Riu pushed himself back up with a nod and leapt into the air to use
the attack.
"Bind!" Mira growled. Dratini dove forward and used the move on the
nearest pokemon, wrapping around as tight as she could with such a
tiny body. The pokemon--a Pidgeotto--thrashed and managed to nip
Dratini. She fell down. "Twister, fast!"
Dratini spun suddenly, around the clearing, taking out a few more
pokemon--including the Pidgeotto.
"Aura sphere!" Mel called, as Riu dodged to the side and avoided
the worst of the attack. He leapt forward to use his own attack,
charging it for a moment before letting it fly towards Dug.
Mira winced but ended up peering into the river guiltily. She
rubbed her jaw. "The punch was worth it, but..." She sighed. "I am
such an idiot."
Dratini tried to grab Mira's foot, but she wasn't fast enough; Mira
jumped off of the cliff, into the river, where she found her small
size giving her a huge disadvantage over the current. Nevertheless,
she swam as best she could against the waves, trying to get to
Victoria. Thank you, rough seas, for making me a strong
swimmer.
