"Oh! Alright!" Samuel hummed, glancing at the clock. He
blinked. "Huh. Time flies, doesn't it? I almost need to head to his
study... If I can ever find it." Samuel seemed to be talking to
himself, but he glanced over at Martha.
Samuel grinned, picking up his cup as he stood. "Thank
you..." He hummed in a soft tone, giving out his own light laugh.
He adjusted his kimono again, looking up at Martha with a kind
grin.
"No problem. I kept getting lost the first week I started working
here." Martha mused with a giggle as she stood up. "Did you know I
was much in the same position as you?"
"Late husband? I didn't know he was married..." Samuel
hummed softly, closing the door behind Martha. He motioned for her
to lead the way, interested in Lithar's husband.
"Yes. Sadly both he and their daughter was killed shortly before it
was announced that those of the fantasy realm could safely co-exist
with everyone." Martha mused.
"oh my... I'm sorry, that's awful. Both vampires?" Samuel
asked, tilting his head as he listened to the maid. He had never
really had a great relationship. His longest lasting one was with a
man who was cheating on him for six months of their one year
relationship. He wasn't enough, it seemed.
"oh jesus. I'm so very sorry, I wish I could help." Samuel
was quiet for a moment. "What happened to Lithar's last helper?" He
asked, glancing at Martha then at the ground.
"His husband and child use to curb a lot of his instincts. With
them gone he noticed they are coming back and worse than ever."
Martha mused with a slight hum. "And here we are." She mused with a
small smile.
Lithar looked up from his paper work with a hum before smiling as
he notices Samuel. "Thank goodness. Whoever said paperwork doesn't
kill was lying." He jokingly mused.
Samuel smiled, giving a soft laugh. "I can imagine." He
hummed softly, taking a few steps towards the desk. He shifted on
his feet, fiddling with the bow on his kimono.
Samuel sat down softly, giving a soft smile and shake of
his head to the question. "No thank you, Martha got me some tea
earlier." He said kindly, running a hand through his hair.
