Ash rolls so she is laying on her stomach. She hummed as she looked through the descriptions of the different fanfics on her phone. "This one sounds interesting." She mutters.

After setting down her books in her room, Syd goes to the edge of the stairs. "Cass?" She calls, then mutters to herself. "She must be in the basement again." With a sigh, Syd concludes it must be a newbie.

Rylie finally groaned and put down the game. She walked out of her room, passing Anna and going downstairs. Hopefully she could find the kitchen or something along those lines. Or something to do.

Angela saw Rylie coming down the stairs and waved. She wanted at least one person on her good side just in case it didn't go well with anyone else.

Rylie glanced over and waved back, though her intent was still on finding food. She left a giant bag of popcorn at home and something told her she wouldn't be going back to get it.

Mals opens the front door. "Back!" He shouts up to Syd. It hadn't taken very long to locate the box, and everything had been inside. Unharmed. That rarely ever actually happened, but Mals knew this was not a completely ordinary box. It looks normal, more normal than most boxes. In fact, it could easily be mistaken for a rubik's cube. He had no idea why he specifically was sent after it - that was the most confusing part - but he had a theory. "Rylie, can you come over here quickly?"

Angela jumped when Mals shouted. She turned around quickly to glare at him "you could have given me a heart attack!" She snapped then mentally face palmed, that's a great way to make friends.

Riley hummed working on a barely functioning model. It was clunky and probably wouldn't work all to well until he got all the right materials. Putting on the metal back pack he picked up a large object almost gun like in appearance as he went down stairs.

Mals shrugs at Angela. "Catch." He says, tossing the rubik's cube at Rylie. As soon as the colorful object touches her hands, it grows ice cold and starts vibrating slightly.

She caught it and flinched slightly. "UH. Mals? Is this normal?" Rylie asked, almost dropping it due to the cold. The vibrations didn't help.
