Although, I suppose I could use someone else's help. I mean, Cass and Syd are usually busy, and sometimes I'm gone... but you'd have to be willing to listen to me, because the stuff I work with is dangerous and I don't want you getting hurt."

Anna scoffed at that before sharpening her sword humming a tune. She recalled her time when she was just a hired gun off on one mission or another. For justice and protection they claimed. "So you want us to be good little soldiers off to protect others huh?"

"Sounds good to me. If there's any slim chance we'll be fighting, I'm in. So! What do we need to protect them? Weapons? Grenades? CROSSBOWS?! Oh please tell me I can get a crossbow!" Rylie hopped in excitement, hardly containing herself.

"I could always make you one." Riley offered pulling an inflatable table out of his back. Stepping on an air pump it was slowly being filled while Riley pulled out a few files and chemicals along with metal cylinders.

Riley nodded mixing some of the chemicals. "There should be some wood outside. Find the one you want." With that he pulled on some goggles as he worked on the chemical mixture.

Riley nodded carefully pouring the chemicals into the cylinders before capping them. As he put away his stuff he asked, "You said you already had a lab genius. Can I meet them?"

"You already have. Although, I'm not exactly a lab genius. I just know the most about the Boxes and everything surrounding them." Mals replies. "And don't worry, a crossbow isn't completely out of the question. Just not right now. It's best to reason with creatures before fighting."

Ash had remained quiet trying to determine if she wanted to do this. She looks over at Riley and Rylie with slightly confused looks. How are they so willing to jump into an adventure? She thinks to herself before yawning. "Guess I'll join in as well." She mutters quietly.

Mals dodges another item, a pillow this time, for that. "Oh, come on, I do. I'd like to see you dismantle a half-melted box with a panicked cat inside." Syd sticks out her tongue, and Mals throws the pillow back at her.
