Since alchemy is just too easy to godmod with, I'm limiting you to one thing you can do with alchemy(turn lead into gold, make healing elixirs, etc.).
Don't base your form off of the show FMA, because that is just way too op

Long ago, they great alchemists tried
so hard to turn stuff into gold. Some tried so hard, that they died
of radiation poisoning, lead poisoning, and other forms of
poisoning. The closest the got was altering the color of the
substance, but everything after that was considered impossible.
What if I told you, that it is achievable, through sacrifice. In
order to Truly taste the power of alchemy, one must give up most of
their life unraveling its mysteries. You all, however, were very
lucky. You had mentors that gave you everything they knew before
they died, so that you could continue the legacy. The only
remaining factor, is what you do with the research.

Alchemical ability: His master developed a formula combining clay and a special powder that allows him to mold clay, turn the molded shape into steel, and turn it back into clay when he is done with it.
Backstory/past:He was a homeless kid until his mentor took him in. He was taught the ways of alchemy, and helped his master discover the secret to their fighting style. He discovered a secret formula that he combined with leather to make molding gloves that could turn clay into steel by the the simple touch, and a reverse formula that he combined with leather, to make a glove that turned it back into clay.
Other:He is often seen carrying an saxophone case, but it is actually a hollow case containing a massive stash of clay.
