"And now we're missing two." Mel groaned. "For arceus's sake." She
dashed into the forest as well, knowing full well she'd probably
end up lost. "Oshawott, stay close, 'Kay buddy?"
Tiger slowed down, and looked over his shoulder. He waited for Mel,
and the others. "This way!" He called hoping the others would hear
him. Cyndaquil lit his backflames even more to create more light.
Roy hopped down from the tree, when he saw 2 lights appearing
nearly simultaneously. He decided to head over to the one that
looked like a fire, quickly recalling his Dratini and Metapod,
wherever they were.
Mel didn't hear Tiger, instead traveling deeper into the woods. It
was dark and it made her nervous, but having Oshawott peering
through her hair made her feet better. "Let's just--" She reached
into her bag for her pokégear and used it to light up the area.
As Roy headed for the fire-like light, another light shone.
Ignoring that one, Roy continued towards the fiery light, hoping
that it was Tiger, or Victor.
Tiger sighed, and looked at Cyndaquil "what do we do?" he said to
the pokemon gently.
"We should go back for the others, and we'll find Roy soon"
Cyndaquil said quietly. Tiger nodded his agreement, and followed
Cyndaquil back the way they came. He saw the light of Mel's
pokégear.
Mel nearly shrieked, whipping around and spotting Scout. She held
one hand to her chest. "Ohmygodyougaveheraheartattack." She wheezed
out, and looked at Scout. "You're Rosemary's Pokémon, right?" She
checked.
Tiger looked around, and heard Mel nearby. "Thank Arceus we didn't
get to far split up" he said in relief. He then walked over to Mel
with Cyndaquil lighting his way.
Still following the fire-like light, Roy learned that the light
wasn't almost fire, it WAS fire. Specifically, a Cyndaquil's fire.
Roy then saw Tiger and sighed in relief.
"Sorry" Tiger said with a sigh. He looked over to Cyndaquil, who
looked partially tired from using his back flames. Tiger then
grabbed a stick, and lit it using Cyndaquil's flame. "Alright...we
should find Roy before any wild pokemon do...we're in Ilex forest
now. So that's a good thing. It means we should be in Goldenrod by
midnight if we don't stop" he said softly. He looked over as he
heard someone sigh, and sighed in relief himself as he saw Roy.
"Thank Arceus!" Tiger said in relief.
Tiger sighed "let's get going...and please. No one run into the
forest while it's late. Pokémon can and will attack if they think
you are a threat" he said knowingly. He held the torch in front of
him as he looked around. "Also...Cyndaquil, remind me to buy a
flashlight when we get to Goldenrod..."
Tiger nodded his agreement, and continued to walk to Goldenrod.
"True..." He aid kindly, and still held the torch out. Cyndaquil
jumped onto Tiger's shoulder, and looked ahead toward Golderod.
"Well... if you need light.." Victor started, and said something to
Volt. The Raichu lit his cheeks and tail up with Electricity. "I'll
introduce you to special Volt Flashlight- has more than 10000 volts
of power."
Blaze had now ignited his flames, since his flame spots wer not
covered with bandages. Shine was hovering in the air.
