" How do you guys eat all that sugar? I'm getting sick just
thinking about it...", Andromeda complained. "I'd rather eat
roadkill, " she said, smiling wryly.
Lucia immediately collapsed onto her stomach and refused to get up.
"I've fainted from shock that neither of you like candy." She said,
voice muffled by the ground.
Andromeda shrugged, " It's fine. I prefer a pure wolf diet. It
makes me feel...normal, I guess, " she explained. " I never
understood the human's fascination with processed food. It's
unnatural. "
Andromeda shrugged, " I suppose. But I'll take my chances, " she
said. "So, where is it we are going next. Does the town have a
name?," she asked the room.
Andromeda raised an eyebrow, waiting for Kat to find his words. "
Well?", she asked. " I guess we'll have to find out when we get
there...", she said, amused.
Kat looked embarrassed, and nodded slightly. "Yeah" he laughed
kindly, and stretched. Yukio then bounded over to the two and
looked excited about leaving on another journey.
Andromeda stood up from the table and dropped down to the floor as
she transformed. She stretched her limbs deeply, enjoying returning
to her true form. " Well, let's get going. I'm to head outside
now, let me know when you are all ready to leave, " she said,
heading out the door. She took a breath of cold air as she pushed
the door open and went back out into the snow. She did always feel
better without a roof and four walls.
Kat turned into a tiger, and walked out of the cabin. Yukio said
goodbye to his grandma, and ran outside. He looked over to
Andromeda, and ran ahead of the group as he turned into the lion
cub once more.
Andromeda chased after Yukio, feeling oddly energetic, believing
she could run for miles. The surface of the snow was frozen, her
paws crunching through the surface as she ran.
Kanti transformed as well and bounded out of the door, wincing
slightly; the metal necklace had warmed up again, and seemed to
instantly go cold as she stepped outside. "After you..." She
bowed.
Andromeda changed her pace slightly as the group joined her. Seeing
her friends around her, running together, made her feel
inexplicably thrilled. Is this what's it's like to be in a
pack?, she thought to herself. She pushed the thought away, not
wanting herself to get too comfortable, especially after the near
tragedy they almost became a part of.
