Andromeda looked around for the information hut, holding a hand protectively around Yukio. " Come on, lets grab a bunch of maps for everyone, " she said, heading in that direction. She grabbed a handful of maps from the stand, shoving one in her pocket. She handed the rest to Yukio, " Would you like to hand these out to the others?," she asked.

"Sure" Yukio said softly, and took the maps. He handed them out to Kanti, and Lucia first.

Lucia accepted the map and looked at it carefully. "Let's go." She said determinedly. She was already ready to leave.

Kat took the map from Yukio and nodded a thanks. "Yukio can go with Andromeda. I honestly trust him with you more than me" he said kindly to Andromeda. He knew that she'd possibly feel better with the young cub nearer to her. "We'll go find someone who has keys to the exhibit by splitting up around the zoo" he suggested.

"I am so gonna get lost." Lucia muttered, but she nodded and looked at the map. "Sounds like fun." She said with a bit of forced cheerfullness. "Let's get going, then."

"I'll check over there," She pointed to a sign that read 'Arctic Mammals'. "Those ones need a lot of maintenance because of climate control; there's bound to be someone there. It's up to you guys to split up though."

Andromeda nodded, and took hold of Yukio's hand, " Come on, " she said, "Is there somewhere you'd like to scope out first?," she asked Yukio. She was worried about splitting up, but it was honestly the best and fastest way to get through this place.

Kanti nodded and hurried off to the section of the zoo. She was shaking slightly, from pure nerves as to what she may or may not find there.

Yukio looked over to Andromeda "what about the lion exhibit?" He asked quietly and looked back to the others. Kat glanced back to Yukio before runnin off to the tiger exhibit.

(Quick question. Are primates considered hunters in this universe? and is this a hunter only zoo?)

Andromeda gently pulled Yukio along, not wishing to linger in any one area for long. "Lions eh?," she said, worried about what they would see there. " Alright, let's go. You're going to be my little partner in crime, okay?", Andromeda said, doing her best to perk Yukio up a little.

Kanti walked by the different exhibits; an arctic fox (who she didn't know, but it still hurt), a few snowy owls, three snow leopards, and two wolves. She paused as she finally found the polar bear exhibit.

She looked at the four bears wistfully, and winced as one noticed her. "Does that human look familiar to you?" She asked the three others. They turned their heads to look at her.

"...Yeah," Another one answered. He got up.

"Is that-"

Kanti carefully showed her necklace of the bear emblem, pulling it out from under her shirt just before the smallest one finished her sentence. The four's eyes widened and they stared.

"...I'm sorry, guys..." She whispered, hiding the necklace again.

(Oof, those feels)
(Also, fun fact, I was considering making Kanti a snow leopard [they're my third favorite mammal] but decided against it)

Andromeda smiled, and walked on towards the lion's den part of the zoo. She was nervous, wondering how Yukio would react if he spotted his mother in the exhibit. " Yukio, look...if we see your mom, you need to promise me you won't shout out for her. I know it's going to be hard...but trust me, if we find her, we will do our best to get her out. Alright?," she said, looking down at Yukio.

Andromeda gave Yukio a smile, having some semblance to her wolf form. " Good. I'll tell you what to do when the time comes, " she said, as they entered the area with the lions. Her heart hurt as she looked at the hunters behind the thick panes of glass.

Yukio nodded, and looked at the hunters through the glass. He tried to look for the familiar pelt of his mother. "Why do humans want to kill hunters...then put some of them behind glass?" He said sadly.

Kat walked along the zoo paths. He stopped in the tiger exhibit and narrowed his eyes. He looked on in disgust as a few tigers were sitting in the weak sunlight. He was about to continue walking when a tiger stared straight at him, and ran to the glass.

The bears weren't sure how to react. "Kanti, it wasn't-"

She shook her head. A zookeeper walked by her, holding some food. Kanti carefully reached out and grabbed the keys from around his belt. I'll make it up to you guys. She mouthed to the bears, hiding the keys in her bag.

One of the bears went to the glass and looked at her. Shimo, don't. She mouthed. The bear nodded.

"Thank you for coming back."
