"Fine. Just want to murder Wily, but fine," Mira grumbled under her
breath. She blinked and sighed. "I swear that wasn't the Maverick
virus talking. Or maybe it was? I dunno."
"You're mad at him for abducting you and using you as a lab rat, I
understand." He walked over to Mira, and held her. "Listen, I hate
losing you, you're family. I care about you. I... I..." He sighed.
"I hate seeing you get hurt."
Mira closed her eyes. "I'll try not to give you a reason to worry
about me," She said finally, smiling. And there it was; she looked
completely back to normal, as if nothing ever happened. "You're
family too, y'know; I can't have you moping and doping over me
forever."
"Look, just because I have family back in my home realm, doesn't
mean I can't find family in those I help and work with either." He
gently laid his head on her shoulder, hugging her. "There's a lot
I'd love to say, but now isn't the time. Or the place." He smiled,
laughing nervously.
"Right, return to the village, and get your blaster." He chuckled,
picking up Mira by surprise. "It's good to have you back, really.
But, we should hurry, it's becoming nightfall." Sorrow started back
toward home, Mira in his arms.
((Ok, so let me get this straight: Mira's ok, Amara's
sobbing her eyes out because Mira's ok and Ninja's not posting for
a while. Ok. Slightly weird stuff but ok.))
"Is she ok?!" Dirk yelled into the crystal. "Data above, Dirk, can
you try not to screw up my hearing code??" Kiris huffed back,
socking him in the arm. "Ow. And sorry."
((TIME FOR MY OWN PLOT TWIST NYEHEHEHEHEHEH))
"Mira's okay, we're returning home now. See you happy crew in a
few!" Sorrow laughed, continuing on the path carrying Mira. "Don't
ask why I'm carrying you, just roll with it." He chuckled.
Mira laughed as she was picked up. She didn't mind, though if it
were literally any other time, she would have pitched a fit.
"Um, hearing code?" Mira frowned as she heard the crystal.
"Oh yeah, I left Kiris and Dirk with a communication crystal, it's
like a comm-link, or uh... A Walkie-Talkie." Sorrow saw the
clearing to the village. Jumping up into a tree just on the outside
of the village he saw Kiris and Dirk, "Did somebody say hero?" He
jumped down landing perfectly in front of them. He let Mira out of
his arms onto the ground. "Long time no see, am I right?"
"Dorks. Anyway, we have kinda... bad news..." Kiris said,
rubbing her arm, a fresh scratch visible. "Yeah, and it's really
bad. Like, basically Mira situation again bad." Dirk said. His
armour had a few new dents and scratches on them, and his helmet
was chipped.
"Serena is missing." Kiris said gravely, showing Mira the
note. My friends and allies,
I have realised that I will never be able to help Tiger find the
Master Sword if I can't fully harness my powers. The light dragon
from earlier has just confirmed that to me. So I am leaving to pray
at the Temple of Hylia, and am hoping to try and find a better way
then my gauntlets to harness my magic so I don't have another
outburst or worse. I will be safe, don't worry, and I hope to see
you all soon.
