"Thanks" Tiger nodded, and took the rubbing alcohol. He didn't look
up from where he was sitting, he just continued to clean, and wrap
a few cuts in silence.
"When I was still getting used to me being half maverick I.... I
killed all of the people in the lab." Amara said "when he came back
I had snapped out of it, and he tried to calm me down, but..." She
trailed of.
Tiger looked over to Amara sympathetically. "You may have killed
them, but it wasn't you. It was the maverick side of you, and I'm
sure you can learn how to control it" he said softly, and bit off a
piece of fabric to tie it properly.
Sorrow coughed slightly. Looking at Mira with eyes only, keeping
his head to the ground.
The note read,
"Mira...
Over the past weeks, you and I, as well as the rest of the team,
we've created a bond. Between us defending each other, to the
rescue missions and recon. By this point in time, I'm leaving you
this note, hopefully I'll be well on my way, looking for answers.
I've got all these feelings, all these secrets, some of those
feelings are my secrets. So, I hope you understand, because, I'd
end up embarrassing myself, trying to explain this out loud. A wise
woman once said, 'A great love is a lot like a good memory.' I
suppose she was right. Anyway, I'm running out of room on this
strip of paper. I hope I'll see you again in the future, if I am
gone.
Signed,
Sorrow."
"Long day, huh?" Sorrow stared at the burn on his stomach.
Well crap, Jack and Leroy are even more lost. Heck, probably even
farther away from the rest now!
-
2 yellow eyes continued to follow the two midget knights,
disappearing every time Leroy looked back to see if anything was
following then.
Amara looked up at tiger "I killed him.... I wasn't thinking
straight, I raised my blaster and shot before I knew what I was
doing!" she said, her eyes showing hints of fear.
Tiger sighed in response to Amara "you didn't mean it though. It
was your maverick part right? I'm sure you can figure out how to
stop it at least" he said softly.
Tiger sighed slightly "you are your own person, Amara. You can pull
through this with the help of your friends" he said softly. He then
noticed the triforce on his hand slightly glowing once more, while
shining it was very dim. The triforce made him think of Serena, and
thought of Serena's disappearance were still bothering him I
won't ask...not yet...not until this whole Sorrow almost dying
thing is over. He sighed and closed his eyes as the thoughts of
Serena being killed continuously bothered him.
"Amara, you're not perfect. No one is. But that means that
you have so much more potential for being amazing." Kiris smiled
and put an arm around the sobbing girl. "Plus, whilst i was fixing
your blaster, I added a scanner module, so it won't fire at anyone
you scan." She chuckled and rubbed her friend's back.
"Sorrow, can you sit down, please? I need to add something for that
wound." Dirk said, the edge in his voice gone.
"Yeah. I mean, she is your charge after all." Dirk
sympathised, and added a small club of herbs to the bandages around
Sorrow's midsection and gave him the same cold pack. "Keep this on
it for a while." He instructed, and walked over to Tiger. He sat
down beside him. "We'll find her. She's a great warrior. You didn't
see her whilst we were fending off Clu and the Enchantress. I was
actually scared of her for a time!" He chucked, then smiled. "She's
ok. I can feel it."
