"Cheers." Dirk said, touching the tip of the arrow to the
bag, which froze it. He threw it as Sorrow. "No way. You're staying
here until you're healed Mister. Doctor's orders. Now put that on
it and sit down." Dirk ordered, and glared at him.
Kiris laughed at Dirk, then finished tinkering. She slipped the
blaster back to Amara.
"Listen, Tiger, you wouldn't understand." He looked forward weakly.
"I'll be alright. No worries." He trudged a little further. "I've
got one secret I just can't spill here." He took a small note out
of his pocket. "Give that to Mira." He stepped forward once more,
"Later."
Dirk tunnelled under Sorrow and popped up in front of him.
"N. O. You are not leaving." He growled, and dragged him back to
where the rest of the reincarnations were. "Sit. I need to dress
this wound properly." He said, and glared at Sorrow.
Tiger growled, and took the note. "You'd be surprised at what I can
understand. If you're not going to take the potion now...at least
take it with you" he said in concern. "If you don't I won't give
the letter to Mira" he said evenly. Even if he would give it to her
either way, he just wanted Sorrow to take the red potion with him.
He then nodded to Dirk slightly agreeing with what he just did.
"He's ok. Right here. And Kiris has done something to your
blaster. I think she's fixed it." Dirk said, smiling at Amara, and
then turned his gaze back to Sorrow, staring him down.
"More then that! I fixed the plasma charger as it was cracked, the
compression chamber for charges blasts wasn't at full optimality so
that's redone, and I added the ability to use the excess engergy
from charged blasts to create a rapid fire shot." Kiris rattled
off, smirking and patting the blaster. "Just keep it on safety
mode, ok?"
Mira had been sitting in silence. She looked up as Amara spoke.
"You shot him in the stomach! What the hell happened?! You don't
just randomly blast your friend in the stomach! If you had charged
the shot, he'd be dead right now!" She snapped.
"I-I what?" Amara said her eyes widening. she looked down at her
blaster and remembered what she saw before she shut down. She
covered her mouth "O-Oh god... I-I..." she said tears starting to
tear up. "I-i didn't... I-I thought I-" She couldn't speak anymore,
her voice was shaking too badly.
Tiger glanced over to the others, and sighed. He felt awful for
everything that happened so far Maybe I shouldn't have come
back... he thought sharply, and got to his feet.
Serena's head pricked up at the Lynel's dying roar, then
shook it off. She prodded the fire she had made with a stick, and
shuddered from the cold. Even hidden in a small cave, she was
freezing. Picking up a stick of charcoal, she began to draw the
images that had been haunting her dreams lately: a huge tornado and
being sucked into it, falling from a bird. An open ocean and a
pirate ship. The inside of a knight's suit of armour whilst her
body was in front of her. Facing a large toad dragon... thing.
Praying in a secluded chamber to a huge fairy. All of these things
got documented on the cave's wall, then right at the back, the
Hylian crest, a huge Triforce dominating the picture. Then, she
brushed off the coal from her hands and huddled into her warm coat
and tried to sleep.
Tiger sighed, and put the note Sorrow gave him next to Mira.
"Listen you all obviously need to calm down, and figure out what's
going on with Sorrow, and Amara....I'm going to look for Serena" he
said quietly, and looked at his sword. "Sorry to come in with an
enemy and leave, but I'm Serena's knight, and it's my
responsibility to make sure she doesn't die" he said quietly.
Mira took the note and opened it, not reading it yet. She sighed.
"Tiger, you aren't going anywhere. We're in this together, at least
now," She growled. "She went to the Temple of Hylia."
"Amara, if you really couldn't control yourself, I understand. But
what happened?!"
Tiger looked over, and was slightly taken aback by Mira's tone. He
narrowed his eyes, and forced himself not to say anything to annoy
her anymore. He just sat down in the dirt once again, and stared at
the ground. She could be getting killed right now! he
thought to himself, and sighed.
