DesertClan (Roleplay)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → DesertClan (Roleplay)Tigerstripe was gathering up as many herbs as she could. The call to evacuate had startled her and she didn't notice Dawnpelt walk into the den.
Ashpelt ran through the forest his gray fur was being whipped by branches and thorns soon he arrived where the fight originally broke out, and he saw Hawkpool on the ground. "No" he said in shock and looked around. The orange and gray warrior's fur was colder than the stones in the old camp in leaf bare. Ashpelt hung his head in grief as he thought of how he could have helped fight when he heard a voice on the breeze. 'Tell Duskwind about Redkit. Please don't feel guilty about this. If you didn't let me go, you and Dawnpelt would be in my place' the voice whispered. As it did, Ashpelt saw Hawkpool's spirit rise from her body and bound away into the trees.

Duskwind followed his clanmates out of the camp, everyone unnaturally quiet. His ears pricked as he heard Sunkit's tiny voice behind him.
" But where will we go? " she cried softly to Flowerheart. She had never left the camp before, and her ears were flat on her head as she looked around at the rogue cats watching them leave.
"Flamestar said we're going to PineClan. We'll be climbing the mountain so stay close to me, or Mudfeather and we'll be there before morning" Flowerheart meowed gently, and nuzzled the kit. Bramblekit ran over and pressed his flank to Sunkit's reassuringly.
"Don't worry Sunkit I'll keep you safe from the rogues" he mewed quietly.
Sunkit shivered, but pressed close against her brother. " I thought our first time leaving the camp would be exciting...," she mewed to her brother.
Duskwind held back as his clan walked solemly ahead into the trees, looking back into the camp, waiting for everyone to leave. Dusty came stalking out, bristling and hissing at the rogue cats surrounding them. "Rude...fleabags...no respect...," he muttered as he walked by Duskwind.
Bramblekit nodded, and sighed sadly. "Look on the bright side" he mewled in a struggle to sound optimistic. "We'll be apprentices soon, and we'll be able to take down those stinky rogues with the clan" he mewled gently trying to cheer Sunkit up.
" I think he went up ahead? I'm not sure where, " Duskwind said, feeling guilty that he didn't have a better answer.
Sunkit didn't reply to her brother, worried about what they would do. She didn't want to think about more fighting.
