Ariana had closed her eye's for a bit. She opened them when she heard something but noticed it was her imagination. She was getting bored so she snapped her fingers, making a shadow version of a fluffy little puppy. The puppy wagged it's tail and yipped at her forcing her to shush it.

"Nova, don't." Asriel says, putting a hand on his friend's shoulder. Part of him wanted to fight Septen, to slit his throat for arguing when something is so important. That part of Asriel scared him, so he pushed the thought away.

Pear tucked herself in bed, turned out the lights, and slowly fell asleep, wondering what new surprises and adventures were in store for her tomorrow. (Also, can we please slow down a bit?)

The puppy became quiet but started chasing its tail instead. This caused Ariana to laugh and cover her mouth.

Nova smirked again. "Be thankful that I spared you this time. Besides, you should know better then to contradict your Princess." She said, walking over to Ariana's door, tapping on it politely.

Nikephoros settled in his room. He was still shaken from the whole almost executed then, and hadnt spoken much during the rescue. His mouth was still sore from being gagged as soon as the guards realised he was trying to charm them into letting him go. He walked over to the door and opened it, leaning against the doorframe and looking around.

Peleus stayed in the hallway, they were given rooms based on gender, and they were uncomfortable choosing one. They fussed with the bandages around their palms, tightening and loosening them as they fidgeted and observed, doing their best to blend into the shadows and go unnoticed.

Ariana jumped when she heard the knock on the door. She quickly picked up the puppy she had made and walked over to the door, opening it.

"And I'm leaving. The exit is right there right?" Septen asked looking at the exit.

"Wait...you...are...actually...leaving?" Noemi stammered.

"Yep. In many ways they are like the Inquisition. It is best I leave now. They talk like them, and in many ways they act like them. Just give them an Inquisitors uniform and they are practically the same thing."

"They are unlike the inquisition in many ways as well. For example, they didnt try to kill us. You should really at least give them a chance." Nikephoros said, walking over to Septen and Noemi, doing his best to channel his power into his voice and calm Septen down and convince him to listen to reason.

"In many ways they are different. I am more concerned about they ways they are the same." Septen replied as his head got blurry. He felt like he had to listen. "In a way you prove my point. My guess is you manipulate one's mind with your power somehow."

"Please. Stay seated." Nova hissed, and created a small illusionary cage, solidifying it, and leaving Septen temporarily trapped. She saw Ariana. "Terribly sorry, we need to asses your powers." She said, smiling.

Ariana nodded setting down the puppy, who immediately runs over to Asriel. She closes her eyes and concentrates. The room quickly grows darker, any light quickly burnt out. And large creatures slowly creep out of the darkest parts of the room. Some looked almost human, and some looked like they were made up of different animals. They crawled the walls, ceiling, and floors, slowly moving towards Ariana to stand by her
