Can your pokemon find more then one item while rumbling with one explorer bag? That has never happened for me.

Yep you just need to give it time and gain levels in it. One rumble in 12 hours can brig back 8 or more items at least and over 2000 pd

As far as i know 8 is the maximum number of items.
