"Heh. I've always been good with riddles; like a superpower of
mine," Lea half-bragged, though one could tell she didn't mean to
sound as cocky as she sounded. "Any others?"
"So, being a clean freak is a cat thing, right?" Dahlia asked,
bluntly.
"One, I am not a cat," Ally says, not lifting her eyes from the
weapon she was polishing, "Two, no. I just like to take care of my
stuff. Like... you love your fans right?"
"Well, obviously."
"Then you understand. Now sit down before you strain something. Who
knows how long we'll be her for. I'll even let you polish your
katanna."
Alaska smiled, tugging on the hem of Dahlia's kimono. With a huff,
Dahlia, reluctantly, sat down.
Once again, Lea's eyes lit up. "Got it! ...Do you want to guess?"
She asked Venus. She didn't want to blurt out the answer without
asking if anyone else knew it.
Oliver stretched out his small hand, grabbing a card. He
pulled it to him, looking at it carefully. One of Hearts.
Maris grabbed one, reading it as well. Three of Diamonds.
Malone noticed she was the last one to grab one after she had been
watching a blonde girl in a detective like hat. She seemed...
Familiar? She didn't know how else to put it. She grasped a card,
looking at her's. King of Spades. They all showed each
other, careful not to let Ace see.
Alaska groaned, "Then I'll polish it for you, I don't mind."
Before Dahlia could stop her, Alaska had already swiped and taken
the weapon out of it's sleeve and began to wipe it down with the
polishing rag, criticizing it's kept-ness.
"OK, now put the cards back in a random place on the deck." Ace
once again instructed, smiling mischeviously. He had done this
trick so many times that he could do it with his eyes closed.
Maria put her card back, rolling her eyes a bit. This boy
was doing a very simple trick, though he may add a special twist.
Oliver put his back in the opposite part of the pile as where he
got it, and was smiling all the while. Malone placed her card back,
then crossed her arms. Neither of the girls were very excited, but
Oliver was completely into the trick. He frickin loved
magic.
