Giving up calling for Dahlia, Alaska decided to move on hoping she
would eventually find her or someone. She treaded with caution and
moved on forwards, knowing there was no way she could possibly
blend into her surroundings. Her ears twitching and pointed in the
direction of every little sound.
Dahlia had a similar plan and similar hopes, kind of. Her katana
was held in a defensive position in front of her, but also in a
position where she could quickly strike if need be.
Malone jumped at Lea's voice, spinning around. She
swallowed hard, staring at the other girl. "Ah, hello. Sorry, you
have me a bit of a fright there..." She said softly, smiling at the
other woman. She gripped her weapon just as relentlessly, not
letting up though she had seen that the individual was
friendly...
Dahlia scoffed at the name 'sweet heart' but didn't protest against
it. With a few large strides, she was pretty much by Ace's side,
before plunging her katana into the body of the Grimm.
"No, I should be sorry. It's too quiet around here--my voice must
have sounded like a gunshot," Lea chuckled and rocked on her heels.
"I-I don't believe we've met yet. I'm Lea."
It was unknown to Alaska how far she had walked, meeting no one.
But sensing a relatively safe and quiet presence, she decided to
take advantage of it and rest for a few minutes. She still hadn't
gotten over the fact that she'd just been launched here, and
hoped that it'd never have to happen again.
Malone smiled warmly up at the other girl. "I'm Malone... I
suppose we're partners, then?" She hummed, loosing her grip on the
gun she held. It wasn't necessary to be so scared around this girl.
She felt a bit safer, but she felt almost weird... "Do... Do I know
you from somewhere else...?" She asked, feeling a bit dumb.
So far, Oliver and Maria hadn't run into anything or anyone. They'd
stayed safe, and Oliver was gripping Maria's hand like life
support. "We're alright..." She hummed to him.
"You know, I thought the same thing. Maybe we went to the same
academy? I've been trying to place your face for awhile..." Lea
shrugged, running her fingers through the hair under the hat she
was wearing (that miraculously didn't fly off in the launch).
