"Let's wrap it up!" Faye told her two Pokémon. At that moment, a crew member told Alex to standby as she'd be going next.
"Wish me luck..." Alex told Jade with a nervous smile and walked off.

"Seviper! Poison Tail into the stage!"
Seviper executed a Poison Tail that illuminated the stage floor with the same purple glow as its tail.
"Beautifly, String Shot!" the Beautifly did as it was commanded and covered the stage with a silky web which was then shot up off the ground from another one of Seviper's Poison Tails.
"Use Gust and Glare!" Beautifly used Gust to create a tornado-like vortex with a purple and white glow and soon Seviper's face from the Glare attack was superimposed into the vortex. It then exploded, masking the girl and her Pokémon and once it disappeared, it showed the girl with her Seviper wrapped around her and the Beautifly perched on her head.

Show off Jade thought as she watched but gave a thumbs up before Alex left, her face serious. Shade and Midnight both barked, saying good luck to Alex.

Faye took a bow walked off stage, passing Alex and smirking. "I can't get any better." she gloated, causing Alex to shake her head. She then looked down at her Squirtle and Eevee and smiled. "Let's do this." she told the two, getting this pumped up.

She walked out to the stage and bowed, remaining in the bowing position before raising her right hand. "Let's go! Rapid Spin!" she called, her Squirtle withdrawing into its shell and spinning around as Eevee balanced on top of the fast-moving shell for a bit and got off with a frontflip.
"Eevee, Attract! Squirtle, Bubble!" Alex commanded the two. The two Pokémon together sent an array of pink hearts and semi-transparent blue bubbles out over the stage and out to the audience. "Ice Beam!" she called. Squirtle then fired and ice-cold beam of light entirely from left to right, freezing both the previously called attacks and making them fall to the ground. The young trainer and her Pokémon all played with the hearts and bubbles before she snapped and both the attacks popped, throwing up pink and blue glitter.

Jade smiled as she watched Alex and her pokemon I guess I have a lot to learn from her. She thought as she saw Faye walk in. Shade and midnight looked at each other, nodded to each other while smirking. They were about to walk toward the spoiled girl, but jade grabbed them by their collars and held them close, all while still watching Alex's performance.

Faye noticed Jade taking a hold on her Pokémon by the collar and smirked at her Seviper, who then slithered over and gave the group a Glare. "Next time, it's a Poison Tail." Faye warned, before walking off towards the bathrooms.

Alex continued her performance by having her Squirtle spin around on its shell and use Aqua Tail, sending the spiral vortex from its tail upwards onstage. "Eevee, Swift!" she commanded. The Swift then combined with Squirtle's spinning Aqua Tail and the stars swirled in the vortex as one by one they fused with the Water-type attack, giving it a golden glow.

"And for the Grand Finale..." Alex mumbled as she jumped up and was soon being propelled by a stream of Bubbles from her Squirtle which changed into a frozen, glowing extension of her dress. "Iron Tail." she commanded, her Eevee executing the move on the frozen pilar levitating the girl and she gracefully landed on both feet. "Finish." she whispered at the crowd, her Squirtle and Eevee posed beside her.

She's so lucky that she can't read sign language or she'd go crying home to daddy. Jade thought as Faye walked away. Shade growled and Midnight stuck her tongue out at the Seviper. she should be thanking me. These two would have caused a lot of havoc. she thought as she watched Alex finish. I need her to teach me how she comes up with her performances. she thought smiling.

"Okay, let's bring out all of the performers to have them judged by you, the audience!" the announcer called.

Faye waltzed out of the bathroom with her Seviper and Beautifly by her side and back onstage. Alex smiled and waited patiently for Jade to come onstage as the other three performers passed her.

Jade walked onto the stage, her pokemon by her sides. She stopped in between Alex and Faye. Jade, despite hating the brat next to her, passed a note to Faye. It read 'Let the best performer win.'

Faye took the note Jade gave her and scanned it quickly. "Yeah, I will." she answered after she scoffed.

"Now, Ladies & Gentlemen, you get to determine the winner of this Showcase! Whichever performer you thought gave the best performance, select the corresponding color on your Glowcasters and let your light shine the way!" the announcer explained.

"On the count of three! One. Two. Three!"

CJ smiled as he lit up his Glowcaster, giving his twin sister the vote as he felt he was obligated to, though he definitely enjoyed Jade's performance equally.

Lights lit up the arena as they piled in to each of the six girls before the audience and after a minute of collecting, it was determined that Alex won the Showcase. "Congratulations!"

Alex stood in awe as she was applauded and looked over at Jade, then back at Faye who'd been furious.
"These Kalos-folk have no taste in a good performance." she said loudly, loud enough for both Jade and Alex to hear before hurriedly walking offstage with her Seviper and Beautifly behind her.

Jade smirked, her version of laughing loudly, as Faye walked off the stage. She then turned to Alex and gave a thumbs up.

Alex smiled at Jade and back at the audience.
After the Showcase, Alex met up with CJ and showed him her newly acquired Princess Key.

"That should have belonged to me." Faye shouted from across the street, catching the attention of the twins. "Why don't we have a battle to see who it should rightfully go to?" Faye suggested.

Alex turned to her brother and Jade to determine whether or not she should accept the offer.

'No you shouldn't do it. you won fair and square.' Jade signed 'She clearly has had a life where she got what she wanted when she wanted it.' She finished. Shade snickered and midnight gave a sly look to Faye.

"Jade says that you shouldn't and that this girl seems to come from a life where she always gets what she wants." CJ translated.

"Jealously is a really ugly thing." Faye barked. "I just so happen to have parents that really love me and love giving me things too. Not my fault yours couldn't offer the same privilege."

Alex turned to Faye and glared. "Honestly might battle her to show her she isn't number one. At least not in Kalos."

'Same here.' Jade signed fairly annoyed 'All though I would like to beat her at a race.' She signed smirking. Shade and Midnight yipped in agreement.

"Um... she agreed and I think she said she'd like to -- race her?" CJ tried to translate, not sure if he'd been correct.

"Oh no, honey, I don't run in heels." Faye declined, walking off after flipping her hair.
