Tess smirked. "That's not even that good of an insult, man! See? You're still tryin' to be tough, obviously? What's your problem? Go and run off to your girlfriend." Tess said, talking about Mira.


Another girl stares at them, from a tree, an Absol at her side. She'd been there the whole entire time and no one had noticed her.

The girl in the tree stares more, an intense sort of glare. She didn't care for either of them at the moment, seeing as they were at eachother's throats even just meeting.

After awhile, Mira decided to head out. Char walked alongside her and jumped up to her shoulder as she pulled out the map. "Where should we head to?" She asked Char. She barked in reply and pointed to Shalour City. Mira shook her head. "If we were to go there, we would need a ride Pokemon and one with surf. I guess there really is only one way to go--back to Lumiose," She closed the map and started towards Route 13 again.

Mira continued on Route 13, whistling, looking for Pokemon. It was strangely quiet--as if all the Pokemon had just been scared away. She wondered, but didn't think too much of it. Char was pouncing and rolling in the tall grass, trying to attract something, but nothing came up. "Darn," Mira eventually said. "I was hoping to catch some Pokemon... I'd really love to complete my dex."

Eventually, she made it back to Lumiose. "Well. Maybe they all fled south?" Mira suggested.

"It's so weird! This kind of thing never happened in Kanto!" Char barked. Mira, not knowing what she was saying, started to head towards Route 4.
