Myanna rumbled as she moved quickly so he was perched on top of
her, unable to reach the floor with his feet. Then she started
spinning and bucking so that it was very much like a bull ride. Not
to throw him off, but to play.
Jabrielle chuckled and patted him on the head before she stepped
out of his cage and locked it properly. "I'll see you tomorrow
Benji," She said before heading off back to her dorm room to study
and sleep.
Amadeus hung on tight, roaring with laughter as she bucked and
pranced about with him perched on her back. He hadn't imagined she
would pull this move. But Amadeus found it hysterical.
Benji waved her off before making his way back into the little
doghouse set up for him. Snuggling inside with his blankets, he was
asleep in moments.
Myanna kept it up for a little bit longer as she maneuvered them
over to the pool, so that when she stopped and flopped over, they
both landed in the water.
Jabrielle came back the following morning as she said she would,
the sun not quite reaching the ground yet. "Good morning," She
whispered as she opened his cage and entered.
Amadeus let out a hyff of air, tugging her close and splashing her.
"I've got ya right where I want ya now!" He told her, dumping
handfuls of water all over her. "What cha gonna do?"
Beni, who was just waking up, scampered out and promptly tripped
over his own feet. Sprawled on thr ground, he blinked a few moments
before jumping up, shaking himself off and trotting over to her. He
chittered excitedly, rubbing against her leg.
Myanna rumbled and stood up to shake herself off on him again. She
purred as she climbed out of the pool.
Jabrielle giggled and knelt down to run her hand down his back.
"Aww, I missed you too!" She adjusted her shoulders so her backpack
slid off and onto the floor. "I brought my pad so I can show you my
drawings and maybe later I'll draw you!"
Myanna did follow him and an audible gasp came from behind them.
"Sh-she's just like a puppy with you..." Lionel hadn't left and was
nearby. "Honestly, this is really cool. Like you could probably
teach her tricks at this point..."
Jabrielle cocked her head as well. "Honestly, inside or outside
it's okay with me. Wherever you would be most comfortable."
"She is. And I love her," Amadeus smiled, looking at her fondly.
"But I don't think I could teach her tricks. Not because she isn't
smart enough to learn. I just feel like...I don't know...it wouod
be demeaning...I certainly would be happy to work with her to show
her if she wanted to. But I won't make her learn for my
amusement."
Benji paused to think for a moment then walked over to the door.
Outside! Then he could talk and give it a try himself!
"Oh I didn't mean that you had to, just seemed like it'd be pretty
cool to have a tiger that could do tricks." Lionel shrugged.
"Anyways, I'll be around if you need me." He then cast a glance
down to Myanna, who was watching him, and he smiled before heading
off out of sight. She turned and resumed staring at the bowl.
"Alrighty," Jabrielle hopped up to her feet and grabbed her bag
before opening the door. She stepped out and offered for Benji to
climb onto her shoulders before she shut his door and headed to the
kitchen to grab some mango before heading outside.
"It would be...though, I think many would be surprised with what
she can do, right Myanna?" He asked, winking at her. Amadeus
grinned when he noticed her stare and filled her bowl. "Alright, my
talented friend, let's go back." With that, he led her back out
into her cage.
Benji began wiggling on her shoulders over the mango. He could kiss
her! Oh, this clever, sweet human! He was jeeping her. He decided,
it was final, no take backs!
Myanna had caught the wink, but she was more focused by the hunger
that rested in her stomach. She would make sure to address that
after she had eaten a little. Lionel chuckled as he walked off.
"Whatever you think is best for her!" He called out from a couple
rooms away.
Jabrielle giggled feeling him wiggle, she just hoped he wouldn't
fall off. She opened the door and headed for the woods, the leash
in her hand.
Setting down her filled bowl, Amadeus looked her over at her water
before getting her some more as well. He looked things over,
wondering if he could get her outside again tonight. Even if it was
just for a walk.
Benji waited until they reached the trees before jumping down and
running in circles for a moment.
Myanna was right there when he set the bowl down. She was very
hungry. The bowl was empty in a few moments. She trotted over to
her water bowl and drank a little before going over to rub against
Amadeus's legs. Would he take her outside tonight? She would love
to feel the grass and dirt under her bare feet again.
Jabrielle giggled as she watched him run, and she sat herself down
by a tree putting the mango next to her. She then took off her
backpack and started rummaging through it.
Amadeus scratched behind her ear. "Still hungry? Want some more?"
He asked. Maybe he could take her outside now. Or make his rounds
again.
He turned his full attention on her when she started ruffling
through her backpack. Was there food inside? Maybe toys? Oh! She
had to have that art stuff inside! Sniffing curiously, he tried to
tell by scent.
Myanna purred at that. Oh that was good. She was full, and of
course she wanted more, but she didn't want to get sick, so she was
set. She moved over to the door and sat next to it and looked back
at him. Perhaps he'd take her outside now?
Jabrielle pulled out a thick notebook of paper that smelled of
charcoal and paints. She then pulled out a flat metal container
that held her supplies. The rest were her other school books.
Amadeus rubbed his hand down Myanna's back. "That sun will help dry
you off. Shall we go outside?" He asked. It crossed his mind that
he may need a leash. But he was sure it wouldn't do much if she
wanted to run. But she wouldn't.
Benji smelled everything, curious about it all. He liked the smell
of the charcoal but paints were strong.
Myanna stood up so he could run his hand along her entire back. Oh
that felt nice. Yes. Yes we shall go outside. She nodded her head
and bumped her paw against the door.
Jabrielle smiled as she opened her metal box and set it down as she
picked up her notebook to show him some of the things she'd drawn
and painted.
