Tiger went into the forest, and thought of the place to find revival herbs. Cyndaquil decided to stay with Bulbasaur and keep an eye on the Weedle.

"Check in the grass," Mira suggested. "Pokemon take a bite out of them, thinking it's food, and throws it out because of the bitter flavor. I rarely find them growing on bushes or whatever."

Tiger nodded "they grow best by a river, but the nearest river" he trailed off. "It's in the forbidden part of Viridian." He said uncertainly.

Tiger nodded "I'm sure if I explain what's going on then the Pokemon there won't attack" he agreed. "Come on the way there isn't that far" he said kindly, and walked deeper into the forest.

Mira followed, listening. If a Pokemon did attack her, she would have to be fast enough to fend for herself, as she didn't have Bulbasaur to defend her.

Tiger stopped at a rock wall. The boulders had a smooth surface "we can't climb up it, but there is a passage nearby. It's guarded by a shiny Ninetales most the time, but she knows me" he said simply, and went down the stones. He then stopped by a bush that hid a hole in the stone.

Tiger walked into the tunnel, and went into the forest. He then looked over, and jumped back before the Ninetales could tackle him. "Tales nine (why are you here?)" the Pokemon asked cautiously at first she didn't recognize Tiger.

"Tally its me....I need to get some revival herbs for a weedle" he explained. The Ninetales relaxed, and looked at Tiger. She then ran over to the boy and nudged him fin a friendly way.

"Ninetales! Nine (oh Tiger! I didn't expect to see you)" she said in embarrassment.

Tiger nodded, and looked over "I brought a friend, she's human, but I trust her" he said simply. The Ninetales nodded, and looked over toward the entrance to the forbidden forest.

Mira followed, and saw the Ninetales. "Hi," She smiled, giving a little wave. She looked back to Tiger. "We're almost there?"

Tiger nodded "Tally will take us there. If we go alone we risk getting ambushed by a few Pokemon" he said kindly. Ninetales nodded, and went toward a river. "It isn't far from here..."

Mira nodded and followed Tally, running her hand over her hair. It was a nervous tick, but she didn't say anything about it. At the river, she looked around for any revival herbs.

Tally stopped beside the river, and dug in the mud. She then pulled out some fresh revival herbs "the herbs look healthy. Is it alright if we take some extra" Tiger asked the Ninetales. The Pokemon nodded, and placed a small pile in front of the two trainers.

"Thank you," Mira said, picking up some of the herbs. "You think this is enough for the way?" She asked Tiger. "No doubt one of our Pokemon will faint on the way."

Tiger nodded "we can always look for more near Vermillion City. They have a river near there, then there's Cinnabar" he said, and thought of places that might grow revival herbs, "then there are revives we can buy in shops" he admitted. Tally nodded in agreement, and lead the way back to the hole in the rocks.
