"He does think that...you see when he was attacked he went missing for a year, and he lived in the forbidden part of Viridian Forest." Smokey sighed. "I spent a year in the forest myself looking for him, and I eventually found him, but he wasn't the old little brother I use to know. He was well...the Tiger you know of now. I'm not sure what happened after Rocket ambushed him, but he learned to speak pokemon, but he began to have nightmares" he continued, and sighed.

He doesn't know about Lugia? Mira thought, surprised. She looked at Smokey sympathetically. "Whatever happened in that forest... He grew such a bond with those Pokemon," She pointed out. "It's incredible."

Mira blushed slightly. "I never really thought of that. I mean I haven't known him for that long," She smiled. "Huh. I guess he does. But... You do know what I mean, right?"

Smokey nodded "I do" he said kindly. "Tiger usually doesn't warm up to people so fast...he is usually on guard. I recommend talking to him once he gets back though..." he said kindly. "I'm sure whatever happened you two will work it out, and if you need my help, or you'd like me to come in and talk to him. Feel free to ask"

Smokey nodded "you're welcome" he said kindly. He then looked up as Tiger, and Cyndaquil stumbled back into the clearing both were slightly beaten up, and soaked.

"Who knew a bunch of Magikarp could splash as crazily as that" Tiger said half laughing. Cyndaquil looked less amused, he just shook his fur dry, and sighed.

"Cyndaquil cynda cyn (you had to go and bug them)" he said bitterly.

Tiger was still laughing "hey they deserved it when they took the berries we gathered...good thing we found more." he sighed slightly, and looked up.

"That doesn't sound fun," Mira giggled. Growlithe got up from Mira's lap, and lit her fur slightly on fire.

"Growlithe growl growl, growlithe," (I can dry you both off, if you want.) She offered, tail wagging.

"NO! NOPE NOPE! You are not going to light them on fire. I didn't even get anything from that sentence, I just know," She said sternly, much to the disappointment of Growlithe.

"Growl growlithe..." (Cyndaquil wouldn't have gotten hurt...) She mumbled, going back over to Mira.

"So... Um... I'm sorry, about what I suggested," Mira said, giving a small smile. "I just thought it would make you feel better."

Tiger looked at Growlithe. "It's fine, Growlithe. I can dry off" he said kindly. He then looked over to Mira. "No I'm sorry for snapping at you...I shouldn't have done so..." he said softly, and went back over to the trees. He took his soaked jacket off- which revealed his age old scar- and placed it on a boulder to dry off.

Tiger sighed "It was not stupid for you to ask" he said gently. "You are my friend, and like a good friend you asked what was wrong, and I'm sorry for snapping at you" he said softly, and looked away sharply as he tried to think clearly.

Tiger blinked, and looked over. He wasn't going to ask about her father. "I haven't really had any friends. Lion was my friend once, but after the incident..." he sighed. He shook the thought away, and looked at Cyndaquil. "I'm sure wherever your dad is he'll be safe..." he said softly trying to reassure her.

Bulbasaur was already munching on an Oran berry. Mira rolled her eyes, and nudged him out of the way so that she could grab a few for herself. Growlithe was eating, while trying to make Pikachu eat a berry while he was sleeping.
