Mira nodded sympathetically and gave the nurse her Pokemon, receiving them back after a few minutes. "It was... Quite chaotic last night. I got a few scratches myself."

Tiger nodded, and returned Cyndaquil. He placed his pokeballs on the counter for Joy. "Yeah..." he said and trailed off slightly. "I've seen battles like that before last night..." he said softly.

"Whoa! You're going up against Team Rocket?!"

Lucas and his Chimchar approached the two, smiling widely. "Lucas! Have you been listening to our conversation?!" Mira groaned, annoyed.

"Maybe a little," He admitted sheepishly. "I think it's cool, though! Have you defeated Brock yet? 'Cause if you have, I have full faith in you both!"

"We were just about to," Mira replied defensively.

"He's pretty easy, if you've got the right Pokemon," Lucas pulled out his badge case and showed off the Boulder Badge excitedly. "Isn't it cool? I just won it!"

"Congrats on winning your badge" Tiger said simply. "Though Brock's badge isn't going to be my first badge I've earned." he said slightly awkwardly. "And I've battled Rocket before..."

"All of the Johto ones....and I challenged Lance, but I lost" Tiger said lowly. "As for why we're still here...Team Rocket showed up while we were trying to catch pokemon, and why are you still here if you won Brock's badge" he said slightly annoyed.

Lucas looked a bit taken back, but still held that friendly smile. "I wanted to heal my Pokemon up before I headed out to... What's the next city again? Cerulean? ...Yeah. I heard it's a much longer route than the one leading to Pewter, so I wanted to make sure my Pokemon are ready to go!"

As annoying as he is... He does care. Mira thought, smiling. "Well, we better not hold you up. Let's go!" She started to head out, waving goodbye to her cousin.

Tiger nodded and walked over to the counter where his pokemon were waiting. They were fully healed, "good luck with Misty" he said kindly as he walked away from Lucas.

Mira met Tiger outside. "Boy. A little wide-eyed, no?" She chuckled, going over to the gym.
