Lise was quiet. She didn't know how to react. Troye nodded.
"Okay..." He said quietly. He didn't really want to endanger
anyone. He had seen what happened when people turned. He shuddered
just thinking about it. Lise stared at the wound. "Sheesh Troye,
the one time you distract the Walkers." She said and he shrugged.
Troye looked at the dog. "Is it friendly?" He asked.
Alexander looked at the dog and picked up Flurry's cage, putting
her inside before he closed it and sat her inside the cage down on
the coffee table, then picked his other thing's up so the dog
wouldn't go rummaging through his supplies.
Alice huffed and this time knocked on the glass of the sliding
door, a little irritated they hadn't heard her.
she didn't want to just barge in and freak them out, she didn't
want to be killed.
"I'm sorry." Trixie whispered again. She hated when she had to
suggest things like this, but it was for the best. She went back
over to the wall where Gem was.
Gem finished drinking. The bottle was half full. She put the bottle
into her backpack, then zipped it up. She glanced around the room.
Maria noticed a girl at the door and opened it. "Oh, just come on
in! Everyone and their brother is already in here!" She said
sarcastically. Oliver looked at Troye. He felt terrible, and he
didn't even know the boy that much. "I'm sorry." He whispered. He
knew it wasn't his fault, but that was terrible. He shook his head.
"Instead of letting him turn, we need to see the side effects of a
bite. So, we should tie him up and watch for symptoms. We don't
want to let him fully turn," He said, staring at Troye, "I've seen
people turn. It's excruciatingly painful. I don't think Troye needs
that." He said, hoping he made some sense. Maria padded, looking at
the dog and smiling a bit. She was trying to find something to
think about other than that Troye kid becoming a walker.
Troye shook his head. "That's awfully kind of you to say, but I
don't want to put you guys in danger..." He said to Oliver Lise put
a hand to his forehead. "Troye you've got a fever..." She mumbled.
She sighed. Even if it wasn't a bite, the wound was obviously
already infected. She just stared at the ground, unsure what to do.
This was why she didn't want to go into medicine.
Alice stumbled back a bit, hugging her hand to her chest as she
stared at Maria before she went back over and picked her weapons
up, putting them away before she entered and closed the door behind
her.
''the only thing i've really seen were walkers, never someone
turning into one....'' Alex muttered, not particularly wanting to
witness something like that.
Oh crap, I needed to do that. Trixie thought. "Sorry, I'll
try to disinfect it the best I can now." She said, walking over to
Troye with her medicine bag.
Troye smiled gratefully, not sure what else to say but thank you
for the millionth time. Lise went through her backpack to see if
she could find anything, and she found a couple cases of pills. She
looked at all the labels closely, not sure exactly what to do with
them.
Trixie began to look around in the medicine bag. She found a bottle
of something that disinfects, and she put a bit of it onto a cloth
she brought with her when the apocalypse broke out. "This is going
to sting." She said, holding up the cloth carefully.
