The Joker opened his eyes, panicking a bit when he saw the roof of the car, but shook the fear quickly. He sat up and winced, rubbing blood off of his forehead. "Wow," He muttered, looking at the driver.

The Joker chuckled at the voice. "Thanks, Nat," He nodded, wiping the blood again from his forehead. It was bleeding pretty badly.

He did so, and shook some of the water out of his hair. "Wave might become a problem," He went on, sitting back in the seat. "But god, it is too much fun fighting her."

The Joker laughed. "Exactly! You get it," He nodded. "When everything comes together, it will be much easier... And I guarantee we'll both get a kick out of it."

They were nearing the base. The Joker grabbed his cane and climbed up to the front seat, getting a better look. He didn't bother asking how Natia knew where the base was; he figured he told her at some point but couldn't remember. "I'll let you stay at my base."

(Just for fun, I'll do a thing :3)

Cirus tapped his fingers on the desk. It was the first day home from the hospital, and was it a busy one. The entire situation at the chemical factory happened just before he got back, and he had been unable to send help.

The police clearly weren't doing enough. "It's time I change that," He muttered, reaching out for his phone. He almost dialed the Joker's number, but rethought it quickly and sighed, leaning back in his chair. Only if it gets really bad. He thought, putting the phone down. An idea crept into mind, and he picked up the phone again, calling the press.

"I need you to do a story on the heroes."

(The fight at the chemical place has pretty much ended, Natia and Joker got away, and the bottom floor of the factory is flooded with chemicals.)

The Joker put his cane on the brake, slowing the car. He got out and stretched, starting to walk towards the entrance.

"Well, I better go get the clown," Jason muttered, walking over to the fence. He was gone. "Nevermind, then," He growled, murmuring a curse under his breath and heading back. "What now?"

The Joker entered the hideout. The goons raised their guns at Natia. "No! She's our friend, now," He shouted, much to the surprise of all the goons. They lowered their guns. He turned back to Natia and smiled. "Sorry about them. Take one of their bunks to show them!" He chuckled. One of them responded with a groan.
