Jason leapt in front of the Batmobile, taking the hit. The car was too valuable to him (and in general). He screeched and hit the ground with a thud.

Nyx smiles and pulls about three fourth of the paper work towards her and started working on it.After a few minutes of working, she started to unknowingly hum a soft melody that normally helps her concentrate.

Altessia listens and smiles. She gets done faster with Nyx helping her. She finishes her mufin and sips her coffee.

Jason grit his teeth and, after a few hits, grabbed the whip with his rubber gloves and yanked it out of Doomshock's hands. "Well, you did catch me off-guard and weaponless," He growled.

Nyx takes a sip of her own coffee while her eyes never leave the paper work.The shadows dance around the room as Nyx hums.Every once in a while they would giggle as one of the shadows would dip another.

"Ah.That makes sense."Nyx muses with her own laugh.She was happy that Altessia had let her help with paper work.It made a great distraction from her thoughts and her quiet apartment was a bit too quiet for her liking.
