Well, I am suggesting for a bit change in the Notification Style.

When we receive a new Notification (N - for short), we click it to see what it is (some users dont - as even they are tired of clicking the N button lots of time).
So, could it be this way, that when we recieve a new N, it automatically gets loaded on the N page (which we will have to keep opened in a new tab), and shows the sign with 1 etc on it.
This way, we even get to know that there is a new N and we don't have to click it again.

You can only bump a thread after 2 or more days. It hasn't even been 24 hours.
I told you this so many times, and others did as well...

I don't understand what you're suggesting.

I think he means, that if you have open Notifications window, then the list of Notifications auto-refreshes, so you don't have to click to see new ones.

I think what he is suggesting is that when you are on the notification page, and a new notification comes up, the page automatically uploads it without you having to refresh your page.

or

It could be that the little numbers that come up on the icon to say there are new notifications come up automatically without you having to go to a new page, like how the palpad shows a new message without you having to go to a new page.

I'd support the second one, but not the first. If you are trying to read a long feed, for example, and all of a sudden your 6 rumblers return, it would be annoying having to constantly scroll just to read one message. In the second one though, this would be handy particularly on the forums. If you are reading, or writing, a long post, quite a few minutes could go by before you change pages, meaning the notification could be 5 minutes old by the time you see it. But if it showed up automatically, you could open it in a new window to view it, then go back to what you were doing.

I hope that made sense :P

It is the second one I mean.

I BUMPed it because this thread was going down and down, and was on the verge of going to Page 2. If I wont have BUPMed it, noone would have cared to read it. I hope I meant no offence. :)

That doesn't make the rule change. You could have just waited two days.

I know we could refresh. But won't it be more comfortable if the N page automatically reloads, leaving a sign on the N button on whatever page we are surfing. c:

Or, and again this is me hardly understanding the situation and going off of JustMe's explanation, you could refresh. It's not that hard and I haven't had any problems with the notifications so far at all. You can just open another tab for your notifications if you want while you're doing whatever else you're doing I guess.

And notifications, as far as I have experienced, do update in the corner. Maybe not at certain points but I've seen it do so. So, I don't understand what this suggestion is saying?

And not to pull out an old joke but when you say "more comfortable" first thing I thought was "First World Problems" xD as a joke of course. But still, refreshing a page isn't difficult, it isn't a big, and hey that's why it's there in the first place, use it.

But again I'm only partially, I think, understanding what this suggestion is about but to me it sounds like "I want to see my notifications alert update on it's own?" Even though I've seen it do this before, just not 100% of the time, refreshing seems like an easy solution to me.

Even if you have the Notification-page open in another tab, the little number will update. While the page won't refresh itself, you won't have to open a new page/tab over and over again. You can just refresh the original one.
Having a page reload automatically, could demand a lot of your internet, causing it to lag or even fail.
