Notifications
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Rejected → NotificationsWhen we receive a new Notification (N - for short), we click it to see what it is (some users dont - as even they are tired of clicking the N button lots of time).
So, could it be this way, that when we recieve a new N, it automatically gets loaded on the N page (which we will have to keep opened in a new tab), and shows the sign with 1 etc on it.
This way, we even get to know that there is a new N and we don't have to click it again.

It could be that the little numbers that come up on the icon to say there are new notifications come up automatically without you having to go to a new page, like how the palpad shows a new message without you having to go to a new page.
I'd support the second one, but not the first. If you are trying to read a long feed, for example, and all of a sudden your 6 rumblers return, it would be annoying having to constantly scroll just to read one message. In the second one though, this would be handy particularly on the forums. If you are reading, or writing, a long post, quite a few minutes could go by before you change pages, meaning the notification could be 5 minutes old by the time you see it. But if it showed up automatically, you could open it in a new window to view it, then go back to what you were doing.
I hope that made sense :P
Ninja :P
And notifications, as far as I have experienced, do update in the corner. Maybe not at certain points but I've seen it do so. So, I don't understand what this suggestion is saying?
And not to pull out an old joke but when you say "more comfortable" first thing I thought was "First World Problems" xD as a joke of course. But still, refreshing a page isn't difficult, it isn't a big, and hey that's why it's there in the first place, use it.
But again I'm only partially, I think, understanding what this suggestion is about but to me it sounds like "I want to see my notifications alert update on it's own?" Even though I've seen it do this before, just not 100% of the time, refreshing seems like an easy solution to me.
Having a page reload automatically, could demand a lot of your internet, causing it to lag or even fail.
