I am trying to create my own section in the Diary sub-forum.

However, when I try to create a second post, it automatically adds onto my original post, despite my selecting "post a new message". I tried several times with the same result, however I don't want it be on gigantic post, but separated.

Help please!

You need to post a new thread not message

since you've already made your diary, i believe you have to wait a bit until your next post. try waiting a day or two before posting something else, okay?

To be more specific - there is an hour countdown before you can post two posts in a row on the same thread

It was built in to prevent spamming!

Just write everything up in a word document and write a new post in your diary every hour until you're done setting up!

In addition to what Nessy said, you can get around the restriction by making your posts long enough. I'm not sure how long "long enough" actually is, though, but I usually just copy what I intend to write and paste it multiple times into the text box and then hit Post. Once successfully posted, I immediately go and edit the post

with what I actually wanted it to say.
