blizzardclan is dealing with its harshest leafbare yet. they beg the walkers of the night for food and herbs, but they do not get answers. desperate for help, purenight, the leader, sends cats to search for loners, rogues, and kittypets to join his clan. but as times get harder, will poor purenight ever be able to save his broken clan? will blizzardclan survive?
rules
no prefix/suffix of night. star, however, is fine because stars are not holy or seen as spirits.
try to use real-life images for cat appearances. (if i know it's genetically possible, i'll let it slide. examples like hawkfrost.)
you can control npcs at any time.
try to have at least one male for every female. [tom, she-cat]
no drama ooc.
no mary sues.
ask me about prophecies. i will write the prophecies and rp the deliverer so we don't get a cliche.

Against the cold winds of leafbare, a light tan tabby tom stood upon a high stone. With him sat a beautiful tortoiseshell she-cat. "Purenight, is it a good idea to be out in this weather?" the she-cat inquired. The tom turned to face her, ears flattened against the wind.
"If it wasn't, why would we be here?" he responded slyly, earning a snort of unamusement from the other.
"Perhaps that kit - Starkit was it? - will do something to help the Clan. The Walkers of the Night mentioned something about Starkit. Poor cat, orphaned with only his brother." The she-cat's face softened as she leaped off the rock.
"Come, Purenight. We must be off. I have sick cats to tend to."

"This isn't a good idea, Fallowstorm. You're bringing an apprentice along-one of those weird ones, too. She's just gonna slow us down!" He hissed under his breath, purposefully trying to walk ahead of the two she-cats in hopes of them not hearing their current conversation. "Swiftpaw is perfectly normal, stop being rude. Besides, we need all the help we can get if we're gonna survive leafbare." Fallowstorm stated, narrowing his eyes at the warrior as they started gaining speed. It was better to split up, more ground could be covered this way. Too many cats were getting sick and prey was getting sparse. What worried him even more was that since Blizzardclan decided to take in two kits, that means two more mouths to feed and more of a chance to spread whitecough.
'Walkers of the night, please help my clan survive through leafbare'
Windkit sneezed rather harshly, trying to press up against his brother and Yarrowcloud for warmth. He couldn't stop shivering, his fur wasn't developed enough to block out some of the warmth and he was weak enough as it is. The pretty she-cat with the weird ears said that he was going to get better soon, but how soon? He knew Fernstorm((?) he wasn't good with big names) was trying to hide that there wasn't much food left and that everyone was getting sick, but he pretended not to notice. 'I just wanna see mom..'
Swiftpaw was starting to get tired, her tiny legs couldn't keep up with the rest of the cats' strides. Thankfully enough, Gentlefall stayed with her the whole way. Soon enough, they lost sight of the two toms, but something else was in store for them. The warrior saw something out of the corner of her eye, and immediately stalked towards it. She knew she was crossing the border as soon as twoleg dens appeared, but she paid no mind to it. The clan needed help, but food was their top priority. When she started wriggling her hips in preparation to pounce, a grey flash appeared and quickly bit down on her prey. By the smell of it, the one before her was a loner. "Hey! That's our prey!" Swiftpaw spat, turning into a tiny puffball of fury. The tom only smirked, as if he was amused by the scene before him. "Sorry, dollface, but i'm not in your pack's territory so it's my game. Good luck next time, though." He chirped through the prey, laced with insincerity. 'Who does he think he is? I'll show him!' The apprentice thought, hackles raised. Her clan needed it more than him!

"It's too cold to go outside" "You'll freeze Snow" "Aww, don't go"
His twolegs kept saying when he attempted to leave the house. Snow wondered what they were trying to say so he took it as a warning to not leave. The pure white kittypet decided to ignore those warnings, filling his head with thoughts of rebellion instead. Snow, when his twoleg wasn't looking, exited the house through the flap below the door, leaving his owner behind.
Snow left at the wrong time and season. He felt the cold pierce through his fur and into his skin, stinging every part of his body. He believed there was no source of warmth wherever he was but crawled under a tree, curling up into a ball.
