May we know how people would benefit from this? You could always go and randomly check the AH if your Pokémon has been bid on. If you get a notification for a bid, what power do you have over it? You won't be able to do anything other than observe, which you can already do by visiting the AH.

Besides, if it's an extremely rare Pokémon, one can expect to get flooded with such notification in the last hour of that Auction.
