I don't really think it's about premium ship.
I got my Ditto when I wasn't a premium, and it was at the lab at 5 minutes. Any non-premium could have got that, and I did.
I know that premium members do still have an advantage, but that would be a better reason to buy premium :b

Not everybody has the money, Toothless. And you got lucky, I don't know of any Ditto eggs that remain there for more than a minute, nowadays. Why shouldn't this be implemented? Only those with a Ditto will be able to get one from the Gem Collector (unless there's a thing where it'll be x3 more expensive for those who don't have one, this one is just an idea since it's people who don't have a Ditto that really need it). I dunno, Toothless, but I think if the legendary birds can be obtained in the Gem Collector, why not Ditto? Really, why not...

Could you get 2,500 Electric/Fire/Ice and Flying Gems in one month, Toothless? Because if you could, you have the options of getting many legendary birds.

Anyways, I'd agree about Ditto costing 6,000, just to make it cost a bit more than the legendary birds (since I know Ditto is rarer than them)

I added Ditto to the Gem Collector (for 10,000 Normal Gems)
This seems quite reasonable to me, since a legendary egg costs 5,000 gems and is actually not as rare as a Ditto at the lab.

EDIT: And since most of you like putting a PD price on stuff:
I think 100 Normal Gems are normally sold for ~ 20-30k PD.
So for 10,000 normal gems you'd have to pay 2-3Million PD.
And this is actually still less than a ditto is worth currently.

OMG, I didn't think you'd actually do this! Well, at least now the users with Ditto have the options of getting these and selling them.

I think Normal Gems might be sold for more, now that this has been implemented, so don't worry about it being too easy to get.

A person sold 90 normal gems for 93 fire and 3 dragon gems! I am amazed how the value of normal gems are now!

How exactly do you find the ditto in the Gem Collector .w.; There doesn't seem to be any explanation on that and my friend who owns a ditto doesn't have it in the exchanging bit yet. Or is it restricted to one per person

Why should we have hatched a Ditto before? It don't work that way with all other pokemon at the gem collector.
I haven't hatched a Moltres but I own one and can see it at the gem collector. So borrowing one should work.

The hatching part is just important for the tall grass.
