I know that some might find this a bother, that's why it would be optional.

It would be like bookmarking threads, but a certain feed instead.

I know as an artist I do the forum art games, but I easily lose them withing the 10-12 different pages.

So, maybe next to the "View your forum subscriptions" button, there could be "View Stars" (Or maybe a more creative name.)

There could be a cap to how many you star also, like how the forum subscriptions have a cap.

-Strong points:

-easily found posts
-great for active roleplayers
-great for sorting out which users you need to draw for
-really great for keeping track of the best offers on your forum trades (Shops)
-Doesn't send a notification EVERY TIME a new post is made on the thread
-great for easy to-do lists and organization

A similar idea, but not quite the same.
And also, when you click on a forum notification, it disappears. When someone posts later, it sends a new notification, so your notifications don't remain full all the time.
And also, I think forum subscriptions (being a RPer), are convenient the way they are, and personally, I won't use it.
(But it may be beneficial for some, so I'll wait for future posts before I change my vote. Currently voting I won't use it).

Um, we're talking about forum posts in threads, not feeds on your notifications/the notification wall, right? Because you say feed but, from what I understand reading your post, you actually mean forum posts.

In this case, you can always make use of the

button in the upper right corner of every single forum post.
Clicking on it will give you the direct link to that specific post. You can save that as a bookmark directly to your browser, or (use BBcodes to) include it in the main post of your shop/forum game/whatever, cross-linking another post. This way, you can easily create your own "important posts" list or whatever. o3o
