nathan stirred awake and grumbled quietly and drowsily, then looked over where he heard the sniffing.
who the hell is disturbing our peace and quiet.... he thought, seriously annoyed.

The sniffing soon stopped but was soon replaced by some growling

nathan blinked and silently got up, staying low as he shifted into his true form and waited, standing protectively over bailey while lightly nudging her with his talon.

''we need to get back to elizabeth and cheyenne.. now...!'' he muttered quietly, picking the backpack up in his beak and looked at bailey.

he looked over his shoulder at ryan and reached up, putting his arm around his neck as he pulled his head down and kissed him.

nathan sighed and handed the backpack to bailey after he pulled her down a bit.
''i'll distract him, you run on ahead.... and don't turn back once you run, make it back to cheyenne and elizabeth, come back with them.... just run and don't turn back afterwards.. now go!'' he yelled, then leaped up and rammed into the canine looking creature, sending the both of them rolling.

he ran one of his hand's through his hair and deepened the kiss a bit, smiling happily.

nathan let out an enraged loud piercing screech, standing between the creature and where bailey ran off too.
i'll protect you even if it risk's my life..... just to see you safe and smiling.. he thought, spreading his wing's out ready to attack.
