Grey's eyes widened, and he looked away. "No! I don't dislike you at all... I just... I... I have a really big secret. No one really knows it..." His voice was soft, and quiet. Almost breaking.

She stopped in her tracks "Grey i.." 'Now she gets' "I'm sorry I'm not gonna push you to tell me but just know I'm here for you!" She said scooting closer to him and grabbed his free hand and squeezed it lightly she saw him look at her so she smiled "What ever it is I'm sure everything will turn out ok! I promise" She always tried to tell herself 'If you believe hard enough it will come true it never worked but hey there is a first time for everything!'

James shook his head. "Sorry. I zoned out. But yes. The night work isn't all that great. It forces me to sleep most of the day" he said.

She grabbed his shaking hand "It is fine you don't have too plus we just met." When he stopped shaking she let go "You will tell me when you are ready!" She said smiling warmly at him.

"And that is fine as long as you are ok and ready!"She said smiling looking at him. She quickly turned to her cup staring into it then the door unlocked and her parents walked in 'great as if I need this!' She thought but she had 2 say something "Hey." She said still looking into her cup

"Oh sweetie we have been looking for you." Her mom exclaimed as she ran over to her holding her face but Melissa pulled it away then her mother stopped noticing the guy next to her "Oh Mel is this your match."

She mumbled under her breath "you would know if you were there." She said sipping her drink never taking her eyes off of it.

James shrugged. "More than likely I will be good with them later, but for now, not so much." He knew they had at least seven years before it would be tough for them to have a kid or two and he figured within three he would be ready.

willow stopped at the water's edge and looked around at the fireflies flying around, sighing a little.
''i'm an only child myself.... since mom only adopted me, nobody really wanted to adopt a child like me since they thought i'd have health issue's.. a pale girl with natural soft lavender hair and two colored eye's like a cat... cause people don't really get that stuff in a cat with the same eye's i have won't become blind and deaf....... i'm one of a kind in this capitol and i was never adopted until my mother, anna trinity, adopted me and gave me a permanent home with her in the orphanage.. i thank her for raising me like i was her own, and treat me like a real daughter..'' she mumbled, looking down at the water and cross her arm's, letting her hair cover her face slightly.

James listened before speaking. "My mother died giving birth to my brother. Sadly it caused my father to work too much and not spent time with me." He shrugged. "Though I don't blame him. Why bother staying home when it reminds you of the dead wife." He looked at Willow. "Guess you got lucky with your adopted mom" he said.
