Corrie felt down when the girl (Bella) seemed to ignore her offer.
She slumped a bit in her seat, focusing on the television in an
effort to drown the sadness out. The peppermint box went back to
her pocket.
Bella noticed the girl had been talking to her, and sighed. "Oh,
I'm sorry! No thank you, I'm not a peppermint fan... Thank you for
the offer, though!" She smiled, her grin soft and warm. She tucked
a bit of hair behind her ear.
Amy pushed the key slowly into the lock, twisting it before a
slight click was heard. With a push of a handle, Amy's door opened
out into a moderately good sized room. She began to rummage through
her bags, hanging up all her clothes that she had packed into a
white wardrobe that was placed neatly at the far left corner in her
room. Next to it lay her desk, where she placed her phone and
hairbrush. She flopped down on her bed after this, giving a sigh of
relief.
Draco couldn't sleep. He went to the stairway and walked up them to
the roof of the dorms. Draco sat down on the edge of the roof,
breathing a sigh of relief. He was happy, he was calm but he was
lonely.
Amy could hear someone going up the stairs to the roof. She decided
to leave her dorm, gently locking it as silently as she could,
before creeping up the stairs. As she did so, she nodded a boy,
around her age at the edge of the roof, looking out at the horizon.
He had a mob of sleek grey hair, and was fairly tall. She caught a
glimpse of his glittering blue eyes, and his skin was pretty light.
She decided to approach him gently, saying some soft words to him.
"It's a pretty night out here, huh?" She asked, her tone was
friendly and gentle. She stood next to him.
The male headed to the cafeteria,he wanted something sweet like
caramel pudding? The ginger saw a group of students watching some
show that was showed on the television."Ah...Friends...The word
itself sounds welcoming..."He mumbled to himself with dreamy eyes.
Now, I'd say that's a task well taken
care of! Uh… were you expecting something
more?
scarlet looked around as she walked to the cafeteria and was
completely amazed how big the school was, not looking where she was
going as she bumped into koizumi, stumbling a bit back and looked
up at him, her face growing a faint red out of embarrassment.
''i-i'm so sorry!'' she said frantically.
Bella smiled as well, her white teeth shining. "I'm Bella! It's
nice to meet you Corrie!" Bella purred, grinning. She loved meeting
new people. She bit her lip a little, then stopped. She had a bad
habit of biting her lip and the inside of her cheek. There were
scars from when she bit to hard, and if she ran her tongue over
them, they were rough and hard.
Corrie grinned back at Bella. She found her purring amusing. "Nice
to meet you to!" There was a few moments of silence in which Corrie
tried to think of something to say. "Did you come her with anyone?"
She finally asked.
James lingered in the computer room for a while before deciding to
head back and look for Corrie again. He asked a few students and
they directed him to the cafeteria. A white haired girl was hard to
miss after all. Apparently his sister had yet to leave.
He entered and saw her sitting on one of the couches, chatting with
someone. Deciding to leave her alone for a while, James took some
available cinnamon buns and started eating them, watching his
little sister from some ways off.
"Oh, no. My only sibling is in college. He's super nice, though.
Did you?" Bella asked softly, tilting her head. She was smiling at
the girl, but felt someone looking at her and Corrie. She stiffened
a bit, and glanced around warily. She looked back at Corrie and
sighed.
"Whoa, in college already?" Corrie couldn't imagine what it was
like having a sibling already out of school. It would be lonely if
James was that old. She'd have no one to play with. "Yeah, I did
come with a sibling. His name is James! He's only 3 years older
than me though."
James went still when the girl Corrie was chatting with look around
warily. It seemed she had felt him watching them. That meant he
couldn't keep observing them then, without looking like a stalker
or something. He finished the last cinnamon bun and went over.
The male looked below and flashed the girl a reassuring smile."It's
fine!No scratches or injuries!What about you,are you okay?"Koizumi
asked,taking her hands and inspecting it."Nope,no scratches!"The
ginger said with a slight chuckle after that.
Now, I'd say that's a task well taken
care of! Uh… were you expecting something
more?
Bella nodded, smiling. "Oh. That's sweet. Are you two close?" She
asked, tilting her head. She sighed, and blinked. She didn't
noticed that James was coming up to them. She brushed hair from her
face, placing them behind her ear. It'd be easier if she had a
ponytail holder to put her long hair in a bun...
James had by then gotten close enough to hear what Bella said. He
was curious how his little sister would respond to the
question.
"Yup!" Corrie answered instantly, not a trace of doubt in her
voice. She trusted him after all. The though made James smile. He
leaned forward against the back of the couch the two girls were
sitting on.
"That's good." He said, watching his little sister start and turn
around, coming face to face with the smiling face of her big
brother.
"James! Were you eavesdropping?" Corrie asked him. James
raised an eyebrow in indignation. Did she really think he would do
that?
"Obviously not. I just happened to hear what you two said."
Bella made a yelping noise as she heard a voice behind her, but
turned. She saw James, as Corrie called him, who must have been
Corie's older brother. She analyzed him a bit, before looking
between the two. Her heart pumped a bit faster, and she blinked.
After Corrie berated him for a while for surprising them both like
that, James turned to look at the other girl. "...So who's your
friend?" He asked quietly. Normally he wouldn't have initiated a
conversation, but being with his little sister put him at ease.
Corrie gave a sheepish smile. "I forgot to introduce you both!
James, this is Bella. We just met. Bella, this is James, the
brother I told you about."
she blinked and looked a bit confused.
''u-um... yeah, i'm alright..'' she mumbled, lightly pulling her
hands away, her face growing a slightly brighter red.
Bella waved to James. "Bonjour." She hummed, and smiled. She knew
being friendly was a good option right now. She aighed as she
pushed more hair behind her pierced ear. Little wings were in her
ears as earrings, and her ears were a bit pointed.
