Hell is looked down at the little kitsune, and smiled. "Hi there~!"
She said, bending down to smile at the little fox. Bella looked at
the two, and smiled softly.
Jake was also being pretty careful where he was steeping so he
wouldn't slip and fall. He already fell once today, and it really
wasn't fun. Jake didn't notice how Amy seemed to be talking, but
looked down and smiled. A chipmunk, how cute! He could understand
animals, but never really talked to any. He was really keeping to
himself a whole lot of time. He didn't want to seem crazy. Animals
really could understand one another, it was amazing.
Atsuko looked up to see Evelyn and just gave a nice smile. She
seemed to have been working on something currently, so she was
rather focussed.
As for Mark, he was prepared for whatever this class could bring to
him. He found music being his strong suit more than art or things
like that. Everyone has something they were good at.
The chipmunk stayed for a while until they came up to what looked
like a wolf cave. It was empty besides a few bats, and rats. Amy
was the first to walk in trying to move a log that was in the
middle of the floor. Sammy went to the back and began to clear out
the leaves and bones that were stuck together.
"It's better this way if we clean up. We are less likely to hurt
ourselves with something this way, and if we are lucky sometimes we
find stuff to chew on once we turn. But it looks like these bones
are to rotted to do anything with." Sammy said as he threw them
out.
Jake decided to help them out by getting some things out as well.
"I guess that makes sense." He said, getting some things out. This
place wasn't all that bad. I mean, come on, it's a cave. Though, he
wasn't the biggest fan of them. Personal reasons. It just reminded
him of that day... But enough on that. It was normally a good
hiding spot for himself where he used to live. Not this cave, but
you know. Caves in general.
Once they finished Amy sat on the floor drawing in the dirt. Sammy
stepped to the mouth of the cave and watched the sunset in silence.
Amy began to hum a tune as she drew on the floor.
Jack walked up to the front of the school. Cautious of attracting
attention, Jack hurried to his first class, Mythology. But
something told him that there was a danger close by. Jack strained
his ears, listening for anything out of the ordinary. He heard some
humming, but it was faint. Jack decided to go check it out after
class ended.
Jake sat on the cave ground as well and he sighed heavily. He might
as well ask Amy something. "Hey, Amy... I am curious. Does your
shift hurt you?" He though it would have been best to ask, since he
was most likely the only one who had a very painful and rather long
shift. Those two things combined made it rather unbearable a lot of
the time, really, but you live with it. He was already becoming a
little shaky. A sign that it was going to begin pretty soon. His
skin was also burning up a bit too.
Amy looked up from her drawing to Jake. "Sometimes, but my brother
holds me while I shift to help distract my pain. It's probably
going to hurt tonight though. Since my brother has to turn tonight
too. Does it hurt you?"
(We have to wait until classes actually start before we shift so it
will take a bit)
Both Minghao and Sanha had music. Sanha, of course, enjoyed music
as he played a guitar and sometimes sings to the songs he plays.
Minghao didn't mind music but he was thankful it existed as he
could dance along to it. They hurried to class and sat down, not
really caring where
((True true. Jake just get really shaky and such when the sun sets,
it's odd.))
He thought for a moment and frowned. He could easily say no, but
that would be a dumb decision. A lie. He couldn't lie to her. He
looked down and nodded. "Yeah, quite a bit, but I've handled it for
this long." He chuckled nervously and just showed her a smile or
reassurance. He would be fine. He... Really didn't know that
though. It was good to think of that, however. Always a good thing.
Jack sat in his seat, early to class for once. The board said today
was about writing an essay about a supposedly mythological
creature. Jack groaned, but maybe being early to class wasn't such
a boring thing. Jack got to writing about the most feared creature
he knew of, in a personal sense. Himself. Surely no one would see
through his facade, right. Jack nodded, unaware of what he was
doing.
Amy smiled to reassure Jake. "It's okay we are here together
tonight. It's better to be with somebody when you shift. Sometimes
my brother doesn't shift, but he wont get in our way."
He nodded. "Yeah, I guess you're right. I am sure I might be
alright, but I do end up being a bit scared of what I am capable
of. Do you ever feel like that?" We have a nice feelings jam right
here, it was rather interesting to have as the sun set.
"Of course it does. I think it scares everyone really. But I think
it's a good thing we are. It makes us more human that way. At least
I think it does." Amy said thoughtfully as she stared into Jake's
eyes.
He nodded. "Right." He stared back into her eyes, his eyes
glistenin a hint before he sighed heavily. He liked Amy. She was
pretty cool. Maybe him and her will be great friends later. Right
now, he decided that he should watch the sunset, like Sammy was.
Partnering up, Lance went with his partner into the woods. It
wasn't all that scary, and Lance paused. We're they supposed to
change when they went in?
Raven listened to Ms.Kunkida talk about arts. She was one of the
better teachers, as Raven actually didn't feek the need to fall
asleep or groan.
Amy went back to drawing on the floor, and humming her little tune.
Sammy looked at Jake before looking back at the sunset. "It's kinda
quiet tonight huh?"
Class ended, and Jack gratefully walked out of the classroom. He
finished his essay while in class. Now, to find out what was that
humming he had heard earlier. Jack started walking towards the
woods.
