"We're partners!" Laura says, excited. Her Fennekin hops around, and looks at a starter Cyndaquil.
Suddenly, Laura glows pink, as a brainwash is attempted on her by an Alakazam nearby.

Elm looked at her in shock and confusion "what's going on" he asked spin concern. He then heard Lion banging in the door again "let...me..go. I n....need to capture" he said muffled by the distance he was away from the door.

Gale brought out her last pokemon Salamence and the moment he came out and roared they connected and he mega evolved. With the added on extreme amount of speed he quickly took out the paralyzed slyveon with a few hyper beams. Cody then sent out his final pokemon which mega evolved into mega gardevoir. Mega Salamence zoomed across the skies as Mega gardevior shot shadow balls and moonblasts.[i]We can't just keep dodging like this[i] Gale thought.

(Um.. my character is in Unova, so she can't really interact with the others. What can I do? It's not like I can make her teleport to Johto for no reason..)

@Cookie(I think someone brainwashed could attack your character, and she could research it to Johto)
Laura's eyes glow blood red, as she commands Fennekin to use flamethrower on Elm.
"What is happening to you?" Victor asks. Maybe the psychic Pokemon have got her... Victor thinks. He thinks about remedy against psychic types.
"Go Greninja!" Victor commands. Greninja creates dark pulse around Laura, hoping to block the psychic waves.

(Where is Gale?)

(She was already attacked by an unfezant. And why exactly would she think to go to Johto to research it?)

(Randomly battling her rival in route 27)

Tiger called Dusk out once more, and jumped onto the Pokemon. Dusk then flew into the air to NewBark once more.

Elm got hit with the flamethrower, and looked at Laura in shock. "It's got to be those strange powers" he said lowly, and patted a flame off him,

(Well the occurrences just happened so maybe a champion would want to check out how they could help?)

(I think, she way research on a computer, and it might tell her that the frequency of sudden brainwash is more in Johto or something /shot)

"Go, Mystic, attack!" Laura says, in a robotic voice. Mystic the Fennekin uses psybeam on Victor, and Greninja blocks it. Greninja uses Scald on Fennekin and Laura, asking them come to their senses.

Gale watches and once gardevoir is turned away she signaled Salamence to attack from behind gardevoir. As salamence came close Cody muttered "checkmate" as gardevoir swiftly turned around and fired a fairy wind. It knocked into both Salamence and Gale. Salamence falling to some trees and Gale to the ground.

Dream sighed and turned off the TV and got out her laptop. She decided to do a search about all of this. It happens more often in Johto...

Dream grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a note.
I'm going to Johto to re-search what's been happening to trainers and their Pokemon.

Tiger went over to Elm "what happened" he said in concern. Elm looked at Tiger, and replied "nothing much" he lied "Lion is resting now, but I couldn't get him out of the strange state..." He said slightly on thought.

Gale waited and watched her fainted dragons all around the battlefield. She didn't return them to their pokeballs because they never liked that after a loss, especially against Cody. A moment later they awoke one by one, the group decided to go see more of NewBark while they still had the time.
