One day, something in your life begins to go awfully wrong.
From your grades in school, your family members, to even your own sanity, something is going downhill at the speed of light, and no matter what you do, you can't get a grip.
When one day, a mysterious girl confronts you. You can't see her face because of her white cloak, and you're pretty sure she isn't human. She says the same thing to everyone:
"I can grant your wish, but I require one thing."
Obviously, you want to know what that one thing is, but even before you open your mouth to ask, she answers your question.
"You will be cursed. I cannot control what this curse is. But I can assure you it will be better than your happiness being at stake. Some of these curses could even be considered magical powers. But be careful. You will not know your curse until it happens."
You didn't know what you were thinking, but you were able to say at least one word.

"Thank you." the girl says, and it sounds like she's relieved. You blink and she's gone.
But when you get home, you know your wish has been granted.

Kani wandered the town. As long as nobody knew her, they couldn't order her around, right?

Stella hummed a tune, also wandering the town.

Calamity hid in her underground base, much like a supervillain, but she did not want to be thought of as a villain.

Cinna was on the swing in the park, humming and swinging. She sighed, continuing to swing. Sarah was in the park with her sister, reading to her. Alria listened, smiling. "Grey stepped to the door, looking back at the boy. The boy had more sadness than anything in his bright eyes. Grey felt tears slip into his eyes as he remembered what he did. He couldn't bear to look at... Him. He ran out, sobbing as he sprinted out of the school. Why would Elijah cheat on him?" She read as Alria stared at the sky, listening.

Stella did a casual cartwheel along the sidewalk.

Kani tried to flatten her cat ears, to hide them a little better.

Calamity looked at herself in the mirror, but there was no reflection. One of her many curses, she did not appear in mirrors, could not endure sunlight, and could not have garlic, much like a vampire. But she was no vampire herself. She gave that curse away long ago.

Dewla sits down on some grass; Immediately making it wilt

Stella turned into a cat as she noticed Enya. She meowed.
