Ryoku went into the shadows and litterally disappeared and ran toward the gate. "They can't see me so I can run right past them!" Ryoku whispered as he ran in the darkest shadows.

Sage could see something a bit different about the shadow and jumped on it. Zubat got on Shade's head and laughed.

Yuuka took a bold step in, taking a sharp breath as she stepped into the city. But after that, it was easy as she walked through the streets she used to gallop happily in. Not surprisingly, everything looked the same. She wasn't even sure why she left the town to begin with, but then she recalled the incident.

I'm not staying here, she decided as she followed Shade and Ryoku.

The world was in ruins, but some places seemed to still be functioning. She remembered this factory. It was the same place that made the ones she currently had. Yuuka closed her eyes as she walked in, playing a game with herself to test her memory.

Turn left, she told herself, then make your way to the right and face to your right after 25 steps.

Slowly opening her eyes, there was only a door in front of her. A simple door, more rusted than the others and marked "EMPLOYEES ONLY"-- not that those rules mattered with the world shattered. Yuuka opened the door and strutted inside, bumping gently into something surprisingly hard and lumpy.

Chuuu! She sneezed, waving dust from her nose. The room reeked of something
in-explainable.

She closed her eyes and sensed a light switch to her left, so flicked it upwards with her finger. A bulb flickered on, and Yuuka took in the surrounding area.

Corpses.
One was staring mockingly in her face, with purple bruises, bulging eyeballs, large bubbles of pus, and all hanging upside-down by the feet. She stared back at it, unwavering.

And with one last flicker, the light bulb went out.

Ryoku wondered why the lights had flashed. "Got the pokeball, time to leave!" He said as he broke a window and jumped out of it. "That place gave me the creeps, as if I was being watched." He said as he walked toward the front door.
