The Mafia Game [Game 2 – Sign up]
Forum-Index → Forum Games → The Mafia Game [Game 2 – Sign up]I suspected on Jason at the beggining, but he is a Ground type, and his specie don't get along with the water, so it's impossible. By now there are three of us that cannot be the killer: Gokul, Percy and Jason as well.
I will wait to see other villager decisions to think. Our votes killed an innocent friend today and I don't want the same thing happens again.
"Why is this happening to us? I'm not going to sleep tonight, we must to keep our eyes wide open"
How could he have been so foolish to allow a spite vote to kill an innocent member of the village?
"I knew I should have changed my vote when I had the chance... I suppose all we can do is wait until tomorrow. Although it is kind of strange how neither Chris or Jason have attempted to defend themselves from my suspicion."
"Issac, I already defended Jason, the proofs are solid and he doesn't need to be worried about.
I have no arguments to defend myself, as well as any of you neither does. If any of you want to talk to me , I'll be standing guard at the stone building."
"Chili was one of the last pokemon I suspected for being a murderer, and now she's gone. Great. Looks like we either get killed or kill each other in order to find the real murderer."
"And I told you. I even got her an alibi. But now, thanks to 3 of you, our friend is killed. And the killer is still out. The killer is one of us. Can you realise that? One of us is a freaking killer. Forget what you know about everyone else. I am not sure who the killer is now. I realised that voting Isaac was wrong, probably, so I changed my vote. I don't really understand why blamed Chilli of being the killer anyways. But one thing remains for sure. Don't believe anyone and anything someone says. So, Isaac, in my opinion if someone defends themselves, there's no reason for us to believe them. There's no reason for us to believe anyone at all."
There isn't rain this night, which is probably for the best since while the current has returned to normal in the river, it's overflooded. The weather tonight has an ambient atmosphere, a starless, dark night with thick fogs. Riko was done burying Karen's body and had returned to the town to sort out a few things. Though, he felt like he needed to see a certain Pokèmon about the murder today. So he went into their house.
Something was wrong. The windows and door was open. Riko rushed inside and froze in his place. It was quite the gruesome scene. No, he can't show the townspeople this– but he have to, hiding it won't help anyone. Riko wrapped the body with a blanket and says a non-religious prayer, carrying the fragile body into the stone building, and called everyone once more to announce:
Percy was dead.
Riko [Mayor]
"Cause of death… was burning alive, ironically, he was a fire type. There's a trace of liquid in his mouth, gasoline or an inflameable liquid. It isn't alcohol, that much I know, Percy isn't that kind of Pokèmon." Riko slowly unwraps the blanket and show what's left of Percu. He was a fire type so his body wasn't completely burned. "A harsh flame killed him, destroyed his bed also. The windows and door was open and while I was there, the chimney looks like it had been disturbed so I looked up and saw a mark, not sure what is it however."
"You know what to do. Vote the killer."
On the next game I plan to add something new, too.
Staring at the burnt carcass, Isaac felt a small chill run down his spine. Smashing someone against rocks were one thing, but setting them on fire to burn alive? It just seemed... so unnecessarily cruel. But this time he had to get it right, or another innocent villager would die.
"I'm... going to need some time to think about this. Although I have a faint idea of what might have happened.
While the Mayor says that Percy wouldn't drink normal alcohol... is there any chance that liquid may be rubbing alcohol?"
"I thought from the beginning Percy was innocent, and now even he's dead... I don't know what to say, why Percy?"
He turned away his head from the burned corpse. There was strong smell or burning and it was almost impossible to stand close to it.
"I'm afraid about myself, I'm shocked and for now I can't say who could do such a thing."
Shaking his head, Isaac sighed. "Considering the first murder, we completely ruled out Gokul since he couldn't have done that murder in heavy rain. If he wasn't the murderer then, he couldn't be the one who did this murder.
Besides, if it was Gokul, why would there be a mark in Percy's chimney? He is too large to fit there, and if he exited the house normally after burning Percy then Chris would have likely seen his giant silhouette against the flames. No, I think that the killer must have used Percy's chimney in some way to commit this murder. Since that chimney is small, I'm going to rule out Gokul, Jason and Chris from my suspects. They are simply too large to have fit in that chimney.
Besides, I think the biggest clue we have is that mysterious liquid we found in Percy's mouth. I am confident that this liquid must have been used to start the fire, and furthermore, I suspect this liquid is in fact medical rubbing alcohol. The Mayor may have said Percy was not the... type of 'mon to drink, but if he was forced to ingest rubbing alcohol then this could have enabled the murderer to use Percy's own power against him. Think about it; if someone came to your house in the middle of the night, and forced you to drink a strange liquid, you would want to defend yourself. If Percy had attempted to use flamethrower on his assailant... well, I think we all know what happened after that.
The windows and door being open would have allowed more oxygen to go to the fire, and in Percy's panic he may have ran around, igniting his bed in the process. Or maybe he tried to roll around in the bed to stop the fire? Who knows. The increase of oxygen would have made these efforts futile, and led to him being burnt to death. But where could the killer have gone? The flames would have made their silhouette easily visible if they tried to exit normally, and Chris may have even spotted them if they tried to do that.
The mark on the chimney is probably from where the killer escaped the house, in order to prevent Chris from spotting them or simply to avoid being caught in the fire. Only a small or thin Pokemon could have managed to climb out of there.
Honestly? I almost hope I'm not right. I can't even begin to believe that anyone, let alone this Pokemon, could have killed Percy in such a cruel way. But if we consider who would have access to rubbing alcohol, would have to use Percy's own attacks against him due to their type, and who would be thin enough to climb up a chimney, there is only one person I can think of.
I blame Mandy of being the murderer!"
"I feel terrified. I felt asleep at the stone building, waiting to somebody to talk. I can't even look at him, I feel so guilty. Maybe I could do something"
"Was Percy sleeping while he caught on fire? Maybe that's why the bed it's burned too" - I think in my mind
"Oh man, this can't be happening and this is too weird to be true, Karen was a water type and drowned. Now Percy, a fire type being burnt to death. Are we being murderer according to our type or is it just a coincidence?"
As Isaac said , the murderer must have come down the chimney. It could have gone through the same place, or simply used the door and run. I don't want to rush and blame on Mandy, if the killer entered to Percy's house and killed him, he could easily have done the same with Mandy and steal alcohol from her first aid kit, so the blame would fall on her
"I know you all suspect me [probably], but I wouldn't be so confident to use the fire as my weapon against the others. Why? Maybe because I'm weak against it as a grass-type?"
Mandy looked at all the pokemon gathered by Percy's dead body.
"I'm not gonna try to convince anybody that I didn't do this. I have totally no idea who could be a murderer in this case."
"I agree with Chris. If Mandy is not the killer, then the real killer would easily put the blame on her by stealing things from her fairst aid kit.
Also, Isaac, the killer could be anybody. If Chris was the killer, he could easily kill Percy without being noticed.
I already told you last night. Forget everything you know about everyone here. Anybody could be the murderer.
I still am not ready to vote, I am not sure who is the murderer. I need a bit more time to think, although I know who I am leaning towards to."
(My phone's battery is about to run off, so I will post again)
Edit: "Yeah, now that I think of it, I am surea bout who I am voting. I think that responsible of the murder is Zain. I voted him in the first round too. He could have easily killed Karen with a stick or something without leaving almost no evidence, could have also easily access Mandy's first aid kit and access Percy's house from the roof. Also, he didn't vote yesterday and it's weird, since he hasn't talked to any of us lately."
(I don't know if they don't post due to some reason, but it is kinda suspicious.")
