Joseph jumped then gripped the hand railing as he arrived at the
bottom of the stairs.
He continued through the lobby into a corridor and continued
walking.
Joseph headed through the corridor, a big sign on the wall just
before a corner reading "Swimming Pool".
Joseph turned the corner and continued walking, the idea of a prom
wasn't exactly alarming, in his old school he just sat at the side
with a can of coke anyway.
Joseph arrived at the pool, he gave a grin, "This place is pretty
cool if I'm honest", he thought.
"I hope it's not too deep", Joseph continued in his head - he
couldn't swim a tall.
"Well." Fluffy said, "I'm going to take a little swim. Fluffy
said." He walked to the pool, got changed into swim trunks, and
went for a swim, doing the backstroke. Apparently this cleared him
of speaking in third person, he then saw Joseph, "Oh, hello."
Fluffy said, "I'm Fluffy."
"Ah, hey there", Joseph said as he trembled, lowering himself into
the water.
He didn't actually own any swimwear of his own yet so he borrowed
some from the storage room.
Joseph was slacking on his vocabulary skills, "Erm, come
again?"
His face went under the water, he hated it when it went in his nose
so he climbed back out and sat on the edge of the pool.
"Oooh, that's quite similar to what I have... or maybe it is what I
have, I don't know the details it was kind of just a party trick
before I came here."
Joseph wanted to get some arm bands but didn't want to be picked on
cos he couldn't swim.
"No, you're not, I'm just err... a little scared...", Joseph
admitted as he sat by the edge of the pool, his feet dangling
in.
"Does fire still burn you?", he asked to try and change the
subject.
"I don't know." Fluffy said, "I've never tried, but I can only put
out my fires and natural ones, let's try it, I mean, I could dry
off and lay down close to the pool, and you could set me on fire."
Fluffy got out of the pool.
