Drex stood by himself not far from the others. He didn't make an
effort to really try and know them, but he also knew that he didn't
want to be a loner for his academy days. For some reason, he found
himself occasionally focusing on Astreya. Something about her made
him feel a bit restless.
Amy moved back, smiling. "It's okay. I know what it's like to be
pelted with insults... It's not nice. I'm not letting you go
through it alone. You're... Important to me, Brendon." She
muttered.
When their gazes met, Drex's lips curled into a smile before he
looked away. He felt a bit awkward now that he realized he had been
caught by her. But for some reason, he felt a little happy that she
had noticed him.
Scarlet looks at amy almost jealously. She pins her ears back and
starts to walk away "I will leave you two alone..... it is clear
you need time together and I am just a 3rd wheel." It is clear
scarlet thinks Amy and Brendon will start to date.
"I thought I always looked like that?" Amour replied flatly. The
ice vanished and she sat down, glad that she had her hat. She
pulled it over her face.
Drex rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, "You did notice...To
tell you the truth, I'm not really sure. Something about
you...Interests me I guess. Sorry, guess it probably made you
uncomfortable."
Brendon sighed, "I was telling the truth, birds taste good, and I'm
pretty sure that if someone who knows martial arts isn't near me
and Jet laughs or teases me, I might eat hunks of his flesh, and
leave him there to bleed. Unless someone who can fight is around me
at all times, then I'm pretty sure I might have to alienate myself
for a while..." Brendon said.
Amy stood there silently, hearing that he completely ignored what
she said. She held her left arm with her right hand and looked down
at the floor, knowing she screwed up.
Scarlet looks over and blushes more "I promise I will keep jet away
from you as much as I possibly can. It is the only thing I can do
to thank you I guess now.....".
