Constina looked to Gabe, an apologetic look in her eyes as she
tilted her head a bit. 'He must just be shy... Poor
thing...' she thought sadly, letting out a sad sigh.
Derem turned back into normal, "I was thrown over a bridge after my
first transformation, I lived there ever since, also, have you
heard any rumors about demon hunters? They could hurt us." Derem
said, "If they find out that only salt can hurt me, they might,
they might... salt.... hurts... salt is bad..." he said, turning
into his demon self once more, he sat down and cried.
Gabe growled at his sister, turning red with embarrassment for
being so awkward. He leaned against a tree and looked at his claws.
He looked back up at Contina and looked back at her, tilting his
head in response.
Derem accidentally sprayed some liquid from one of the needles on
top of his head, he turned back into his human form, "Yeah, good
idea, if one of them comes, I'll leave the fighting up for others.
Also, how would a sanctuary sound? A place where demons, angels,
and humans can live in peace?" He asked, "I know it sounds silly,
but I have a friend who's also a demon, but another kind, he can
read emotions and thoughts when someone sings, he wants to be a
musician, maybe he can be the owner? He's gonna come soon, maybe
another month." He said. (Yes, I have a second character for me in
mind, I'm gonna see about it when it's 2 weeks old.)
Constina knew she wasn't really in the conversation anymore, so she
walked to Gabe. "Sorry. I kinda abandoned you..." She whispered,
looking to the ground sadly.
Gabe perked up, looking at her. "Oh, uh, it's alright." He said
quietly. "I'm not one for group conversation, anyways." He said,
making a small smile. "Too much going on."
Savannah nodded 'there already is one it's just hidden from humans
and hunters, my brother and I know where it is but we are on guard
duty' she explained while looking around
Constina looked up at him and nodded. "Yeah, I've always been the
shyest angel. No one really wanted to chat with me. But, whenever
people do, I feel special! So I try to chat a bit, but I like it
more when someone else begins to chat. Like they actually care
about being my friend." She said with a bit of a dreamy look in her
eyes, her cheeks slightly red.
Derem smiled, he spoke with his normal Irish accent, "Okay, we can
find it, so, yeah, we have demon, angel, Braken Demon, and some
that I don't know. Yeah, um, I'm kinda sad, but my friend lives a
while away that'll last 2 weeks! And then I can show him my new
song for him to read! Songs help, they make everything better.
Especially when your friend can read your thoughts even by a badly
sung tune."
Gabe smiled a bit. "Well, I wish I had that bravery to start up
conversations. I can fight 50 foot tall demons, decapitate
succubuses, and stare down dire wolves, but I've never been able to
have the bravery to go up and talk. I wish I ha what you had." He
said with a bit of a sigh.
Constina nodded a bit. "Ah, yes. But you shall soon find I have no
self-esteem or confidence, and I have tons of social anxiety." She
said, her voice quiet, wavering a little.
Gabe blinked at her, feeling quite sorry for her. "Well, then we'll
just have to fix that up then, eh?" He said to her, trying to not
make himself negative, despite his feelings telling him to leave
and go think to himself.
Derem smiled, "I was under a bridge for 5 years with little to no
seeing anyone." Derem said, "And then this guy goes and throws a
bottle of salt from the top of the bridge, it lands next to me, and
some salt lands on me, it hurts so bad. Then I moved under a
different bridge, stole 24 pillows in my demon form, I had no
control over my body. If any more salt touches me again I fear that
I may be unable to control myself and revert back into a normal
person. I guess that's why I left town."
"How? The only time I felt proud was when I was alive and in love
with a boy... He was awesome. But... I was killed in a hit and run
so know my confidence is gone. But love seems to make me feel good
inside and about myself. But enough of my dumb sob story!" Constina
said, sad smile on her lips.
Derem was confused, "It's okay! I think a lot of us have stories to
tell, I'm not dead, but yeah, do you know if God will accept a
demon into heaven? I was born as this for a reason I don't know. I
believe in God, and have accepted him as my lord and saviour, I
have let Jesus into my life, and have controlled my demon self this
far, and I hope that if I die, I don't know if I'm immortal or
anything like that, I go to heaven and live there in harmony with
humans and angels." He asked Constina. "I have every reason to
beleive you, in fact, I believe that God lead me to you, and these
good people, demons, whatever they are."
