Gabe blinked, cocking his head at Constina. He internally swore at
himself for being on edge because of a young angel. He quietly
sighed with relief, still curious of her. He glanced at Savannah
out of the corner of his eye.
Constina spun around at a hissing noise, finding the cat and the
demon boy. Of course, she had no problems with demons and such, but
they did seem to treat her terribly. She had been beaten by them,
but she couldn't tell anyone they were demons or they'd murder her.
Big deal, actually. Because this was her one chance on earth before
she had to go back to heaven and become a servant once more. She
gave them an awkward, timid smile and wave.
Gabe tried a faint smile, not showing his teeth, as he knew they
intimidated people with their unnatural resemblance to a dog's
teeth. Gabe picked Savannah up, snickering at her negative reaction
and finding it very amusing. "Hey there." He said to Constina.
"Hello, I'm Co-Constina... May I ask of your name?" Constina said,
walking to him a bit and folding up her white wings. Burns were
littered around her feet, but the pain was minor since she had
found bandages. That was the downside of her powers. She couldn't
ever heal herself, only others.
Derem sighed, he turned into his demon form, and ran out of town,
he tried to find a place where demons could live. He knew that he
couldn't turn back, he knew that there could be others like him,
and he knew that the police would be looking for him, he tried to
find a place where demons could live, he traveled far, and
eventually, he prayed to God about how sorry he was for his sins,
and he asked for forgiveness, he asked for a guardian angel to help
him find his way to a sanctuary where demons could live, and ended
with, "and in Jesus' name, amen."
Gabe snorted at his sister as he held her to keep her calm. "The
name's Gabriel, but I prefer Gabe. This here is my sister,
Savannah." He said in his calm and low voice, gesturing to the cat
in his arms. "She's a bit grumpy at the moment, excuse her."
"I hope I'm not offensive, but am I correct in supposing you two
are demons?" Constina questioned lightly, shifting her weight
lightly. She looked at them carefully, worried that they'd hurt her
out of anger
"Yeah, we are." Gabe replied nervously, scratching as the ground
with his foot. He was self conscious about his species, but
couldn't blame her for wanting to ask. He let Savannah go, annoyed
with her aggressive behavior as he tried to socialize.
Derem followed his instincts, he turned, and in demon form, travel
was much quicker than a car, he then saw a few demons talking, and
he went over to check it out, he turned back into his normal form,
execept for a few needles for self defense, if one were to harm
him. In his Irish accent, he said, "Hello, I'm Derem. Mostly human,
mostly..." He sneezed, and he changed entirely, he shook his head,
and he turned back into a human, "On my mother's side. That is."
Constina nodded a bit, opening her mouth to speak. But she closed
it and her eyes followed Savannah. She looked away though, and
smiled politely at Gabe. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you." She
said with a soft smile.
Derem smiled, "Hello." He said, he then looked at Constina
curiously, "You aren't a demon, are you?" He asked Constina. "Then,
what are you? I mean, human, animal, demon hybrid, demon, half
demon half human, half demon half animal, half animal half human,
you could be anything! I for one, am known as a Brachen Demon, a
peaceful demon and human cross breed. What are you?"
Derem smiled, "A angel? Like God whom I prayed to?" He asked he
then looked at Samantha. "So, uh, yeah, who are you? I mean, it's
obvious you're a demon, I mean, of course." Derem sneezed again,
turning into his demon self, "Nobody come within a yard of me, the
needles squirt paralyzing liquid." He said, backing up.
Gabe watched them all interact, staying away from them all. He
couldn't stand large groups, they made him nervous and irritated.
The one he had any interest in talking to was the girl, Constina,
and she was speaking to someone else. He huffed in irritation,
folding his arms.
