so i noticed this with the auciton house it take your money when you make the bid even if you get out bidded it take that money and you don't get it back which isn't right. i go to auction for personal things in my life and you don't get your money taken away from you unless you win not in the middle of a bidding war. just saying that should be checked out because. that not how an auction works. an auction works as you win then you pay( thus the payment gets taken from you after you win. not during biddings) just an observation i made while trying to bid on some pokes

If you wait long enough after you LOSE an auction, you will get your money back.

The money is taken away as you bid, as a way to put it aside.
If the Auction House were the work the exact same way as in real life, users could (accidentally or purposefully) spend all their PD after having bid and would only cause trouble if the auction is won, only for the PD to be unavailable.

(Also, this borders somewhere between a complaint and a suggestion; are you suggesting something?)

When I thought about why that would be, I thought of not only what Catlady said, but also the fact that because you have money in there, it knows to tell you that you've been outbid. If the money weren't already in there, you might not get notified. I'm not someone who knows a lot about programing, but that just seems correct to my mind. On that same note, sometimes you might forget completely about an auction, and because it has your funds involved it informs you about you not being the top bidder, and also you would (once again, possibly) never get the notification that the auction ended, which indicates you having the Pokedollars back. There's other reasons, I'm almost certain, than what's been said here, though.
