a white tuxedo, a gold chain (now swapped out for a purple diamond shop spike), those weird leaf bracelet things, and a rainbow tail (now swapped out for a black/red princess (?) set tail armor)

Of course, a lot of improvement. The lines you are making, compared to then, are a lot straighter. Seems like your hand got used to drawing quickly. And shading is better too.

I did the image editing and text making, but the art is by Leicester, Lizzanga, Bear, Giraffe_A_Laugh, Zylen, Akiruru and steaks [I didn't repeat names nor go in order :x]

It was a comission for Tsuko, the character belongs to her, I only own the art.
Program: Microsoft Paint
Tool: Graphic Tablet for the Sketch, mouse for the lines & details
Time taken: around 1.5 hour/s
