"Here." Purity said, giving Ebby a water bottle. "It will clear out
the smoke and ashes." Purity said, listening to the thunder. Or her
stomach. She couldn't tell.
Aran turned his head to Ebby. "We are a family. No one gets left
behind. Have you never watched Nino and Stick?" He said, and began
taking his notebook up. It was full of animal drawings from when he
was in the forest. He found a empty side, and started drawing a
happy family, hugging.
"No, I have not" Ebby responded. "Well, the next obstacle is the
rocky path, so we may need to be careful driving on that." Ebby
said looking at the map.
"Ebby, don't be so cranky!" Purity said, opening up her book and
starting to read. "We just saved your life." Purity said, paying
more attention to her book then to her words.
"Thanks for ruining my childhood.." Aran said quietly in a mad
tone. "Can't we just get to that Darkrai thingy? I honestly want to
die right now. Im not kidding." He said, and calmed down. He looked
down on his notebook, and scrapped the hugging family. It was
stupid. Most of the family was girls, and he was a little crowded
by girls right now. He felt alone.
Ebby heard this, and started crying. She saw the picture, and
started crying more. "This is why you had to leave me behind..."
Ebby said, looking out the window, and staining it with tears.
"Why is everybody mad at each other?! Nobody ruined anything!
Everybody needs to stop being needy little drama queens, AND
kings!" Purity said, looking at Aran.
Purity ignored Ebby's snotty remarks, knowing she was just cranky,
stressed, and scared. Purity was too. But, she felt that she has
the perfect balance of ice in her personality, to keep her from
being a plain mean bully, like Ebby is becoming.
