No support. Just like lulu said, we already have a honey tree with
a similar function. Plus, the whole point of Emera Beach is to use
your skill to catch the pokemon, and just having pokemon come seems
too easy
Support, but I don't think it should be fishable pokemon that can
show up. Maybe pokemon that are found in sand like trapinch and
sandaconda and their like. I like the idea of setting out bait but
if the weather switches to thunderstorm you'd lose it. I think if
it's pokemon not available through fishing or honey tree but could
be found at the beach it'd be neat. There are several sandy pokemon
that this could apply to.
I think it'd be a neat feature, maybe as a link off the beach as
with the diner and Leah trades. A small cove you can set your
fishing bait (not a new item, what we have is fine for this too) on
the sand and sometimes pokemon show up. Perhaps something similar
to the Beach Zone in Pikachu's Adventure? A quest to unlock it and
then pokemon you catch show up in your tackle box. Beach dwellers
like Krabby and Kingler could be pulled from the fishing lineup
maybe and/or replaced.
I agree that it would be interesting to have a feature similar to
the honey tree there. It could be, for example, a fishing net or
crab cage or something like that that you have to put bait into
every so often. You could find items or fish (with a different
chance of appearance) there and every now and again you check it,
and if you don't then the item "falls out" or the Pokemon escapes
with the bait. There could even be a specific bait for it.
I support for this reason!
