Rather VERY immature. He's acting like a little kid. I don't know how bad the reason he's mad is, but it isn't an excuse to totally close the site temporarily, or even permanently.

From what i read on the confessions Matthew one of the creators went power hungry and ran off the mods before beta opening and hired new people.
After hiring he didnt like that people wanted to change the site and flipped out because of the confessions blog which showed he didnt care about the users he only cared about their money.
If you want to learn ehats been happening i would go there.
For now we all can only wait and see what happens

I'm getting quite disgusted by these kinds of people such as him. I may close down my account even if FV comes up again. I will never, EVER buy currencies off him, just so he gets his money.

I would agree im discusted that a furry like that was the owner of that site.
It saddens me that many who are introduced to furry are run off by people such as him.

Matthew was the owner of the site, but he was fired 2 days before launch? He does have an fv account, but it's just a normal user account. I'm kinda skeptical of people saying it was him, since he doesn't have any power on fv anymore.

Weissan is the new owner, there's no way Matthew shut it down, unless he hacked Weissan (which I highly doubt it unless he's an expert hacker).

Yes, I am aware of the new owner. I don't think the stuff on fv confessions has anything to do with the site being down. It's just a response to something Matthew posted in a forum, which wouldn't warrant shutting the whole site down. I doubt the two situations are connected.

"Matthew sent us a threatening message claiming to know the identity of the anons and planned to harass them, leak personal details and cause hell for them.

I will not share your information and I’ve edited screenshots (such as the Facebook post) to show from my personal browser. If you know him RL and are concerned for your safety please contact the police immediately"

And regarding that tumlr post about Matthew,

He did send that message, there'd be no reason to lie about it. The "anons" are probably people who've posted stuff about Matthew onto the confessions blog.

The person who wrote up this made sure to say that he claims to know identities, but of course, it's only a threat and no one knows if he knows them for sure. That situation probably has nothing to do with us though, and we shouldn't look into it with detail.

Sheesh, I don't look at the site fur a few hours and efurryfin just dissolves into chaos appurrently : pp I'm so done with Matthew after reading the confessions page, they sound like an extremely toxic purrson. I'm also going to be upset that the poorly done paintie I made may nefur be used if the site is closed fur good. Even though the paintie is purretty bad and still not done X33
